Clear Lake State Park is a clean and fun place for a day out, featuring docks for swimming, fishing, and boating. The park offers a small splash pad and clean bathrooms. While the camping sites can be small, especially during busy weekends, families find it generally quiet and peaceful with plenty of activities. Some sites, like #94, are narrow and muddy, but upgrades are underway for better accessibility. It's a dog-friendly campground with lots of shade and walking distance to the beach. Visitors have praised the helpful and friendly Park Ranger, enhancing their enjoyable experiences.
The only thing we figured out late is there IS parking. But Google leads you to the end that can't access and we ended up parking in the campground. Only to see where parking is when we walked around. Otherwise great place to bring visiting family!

A beautifully-cared for state park that is close to amenities in the downtown area. We really appreciated the design of the dump station, that allows a thorough rinsing of the hose area for black tank dumping.

There is always a wonderful breeze that comes off the lake into the playground. Fund a nice tree to sit under and enjoy the day!
