Moving from a large city to rural Iowa had a few drawbacks, one of them being the lack of organic anything (which seems surprising for a farming area) and holistic care. One certified functional medicine doctor in the entire Northern half of the state? Sigh. But I have found this to be a lovely shop, the owner knowledgeable and the supplies useful. Her loose leaf herbs are very reasonable and she carries the typical holistic lineup of supplements. From Magnesium to Elderberry, this is my new go-to and my attempt to choose local over Amazon. I love when independent stores are led by a truly talented person who knows their craft, and Journey Health Shop proved to be exactly that on a recent visit during the city's annual Kite Festival.Owner Christen Sherwood is a remarkable combination of customer service and brilliant awareness, making my visit and inquiries a positive experience. She provided exceptional guidance regarding a probiotic, and I am grateful for her advice.

Christen is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and has a great variety of herbs and homeopathic remedies for a plethora of alignments. I highly recommend this amazing shop.

Like stepping back in time. Is a beautiful shop with lovely people. Has souch to look at. Fell in love with the decor. Just amazing!!!!
