Mangalitsa pork has marbling similar to that of Kobe beef, making it highly valuable After studying genetic options, our team found the Mangalitsa from Eastern Europe had the desired qualities that was needed to make the “Gourmet pork” product being sought by the leading chefs in this country. We were very fortunate to obtain a genetic start for our Mangalitsa nucleus, now known as Mangalitsa Estates. We now have the second largest herd of Mangalitsa pigs in North America , and the demand has for the purebreds has been overwhelming. Developing the pure Mangalitsa herd to supply America’s chefs and families with Mangalitsa Estate's gourmet pork is such a honor.

I've enjoyed my orders but I steer clear of th bacon ends and pieces. There's no rhyme or reason how product ends up as ends and pieces like other companies that have som decent sized pieces. In addition, much of the product has been severely freezer burned and the company has never responded to my emails.
