This banks trash there all rude in there don’t offer anything for good outstanding members call you and act weird like how much money was given to you at the drive thru place is no good can’t apply for credit cards loans impossible to get don’t bank here

Never liked this bank & never will for a personal & definitely not for a business account. I'm a storm restoration contractor & get large checks to start jobs & even if I have 3 times the amount in my account they'll still hold it for 10 days whereas Clinton National Bank will make a SIMPLE PHONE CALL to verify & release it so I can proceed. Besides that, if you don't carry large sums of money with them, they definitely treat you differently/worse, even when you make 5 times more than their tellers lol. Place is a joke & I only keep my account there bc I have several auto withdraw bills & other things tied to it. When those are paid off or changed I'll absolutely close my personal account as well. Do yourself a favor & go to Clinton National or some other dignified & reasonable Bank, 1st Gateway is a joke.

This Credit Union has only gotten worse over time. Inconvenience has become something they dwell in and disguise it as security. Multiple times I have had to call because the website they use operates poorly resulting in me needing to reset passwords and security questions because the security of the website doesn't operate effectively during certain times of the day or week. If you value your sanity and security of your assets and access to them, stay away from this institution. I could truly go on about the dumb things they have done to me and my wife over the years, but I try to keep things short.

By far hands down the worst credit Union/bank in the area. They will add hidden fees on top of your existing loan payments and they won't tell you either. They are snakes!!!

The bank tellers and loan officers at First Gateway are the best you can come by. Each and every one go above and beyond to get not only what you need done but done right and done asap. You will never feel like just another account there. They take the time to know who you are when you go there and they aren't satisfied until you're satisfied. We highly recommend doing all your personal and professional banking needs with First Gateway Credit Union.

Horrible bank do not bank here I had an account for 10 years almost and they closed my account and sent the money to the state of iowa without contacting me at all -10/10

The First Gateway Credit Union is the a great place to do all of your banking experiences. I’ve been with them for years and will not go anywhere else.They are Family and treat you like Family the girls are just great and very knowledgeable on all my banking needs and I know if you join they will do you right( Come to our Family) you will not be sooty for the move.
