I've been banking with Citizens First Bank for 20 years and I would highly recommend them. I love all of their services and the people are very friendly and helpful. Their online banking and app are very easy and convenient to use.

If i could give half a star or zero stars i would. Not much protection against fraudulent charges. Also on my childs social security survivor benefits account, they decided after a week to ACH return money that had been deposited legitimately, desipte an error on the name of the deposit. The agency depositing the funds called directly multiple times to Michelle in operations, who refused to retirn any calls, then the same agency sent email documentation that was ignored by Michelle as well. Needless to say the situation left my childs account in overdraft which I ensured was paid. The same day it was paid off they decided to close the account. At least i had the reissued payments deposited in another finacial institution for my child as well as his future benefits. His social security benefits are supposed to be protected funds that cannot be taken to cover fees. Despite that and even while the overdraft had been paid, the bank STOLE his benefits. The social security administration has been made aware and will be taking action against this bank. Im happy to be with a credit union for both mine and my childs banking needs and would recommend to anyone looking to start an account, Ageis credit union is literally right up the street from citizens first bank on N 2nd st clinton . Go there instead. Or Dupaco or anywhere else! Do not let this institution manage any of your funds. They are irresponsible and feel they are above reproach when they refuse to correct errors on their end and no ammount of documentation or direct contact will be acceptable. They will simply steal any resources you have with them until they feel finacially staisfied. android app is my favorite about this bank, the tellers are always friendly and helpful, loan officers very knowledgeable and professional and all their branches and ATMs are placed at very convenient locations around town to easily serve everyone in Clinton. CFB gets 5 stars!!!! thank you CFB for kick starting my small business!!!
