Wouldn't take your car here for issues bigger than tires or oil change. Guess they HAD to charge me for something because they didn't fix my issue and can easily just tell they didn't even look. Took my car to an actual PROFESSIONAL mechanic and got it fixed. Thanks for taking my money and not doing anything to actually fix the issue. If there's something you don't know how to fix just be honest instead of taking thousands from someone. Feels scummy

Very nice people who do good work! They corrected what Billion GM Service failed to fix properly. I'm grateful to the good people at Clinton, Iowa Midas!!!

I've been going to Midas for over 25 yrs. Dave, Vicki, and Ryan are the best. They are very trustworthy and only repair what needs to be fixed.

Massive waste of my time. Couldn't talk to a mechanic about the issue until they looked at it. Spent over two hours waiting just for them to tell me the exact thing I was going to tell them, and then they gave me as quote for over 1000$.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Last time I went to this Midas I spent over a grand on my front end. A day later I had to go to yet another midas and pay them another grand to replace the belt. So much for that 40 point check or whatever they call it. Didnt notice the belt was about to snap? After 46 years in business and they couldnt catch that? Oh well, I let it go. Thankful I didn't jack up the entire engine. A year later I go back to the Clinton Midas and they charged me $40 bucks to do what Autozone does for free. I even offered to buy a $50 gift card so that I might walk away with something while still paying them for the 5 minutes it took to hook my car up to an error reader but nope. Complete rip off. When I spoke to the owner he was completely rude and unhelpful. Apparently they don't want to work on old cars. And that little survey link the owner shared below....Dave already told me he didn't care if I complained because he's been there for 46 years. So nice of him. Great representation for Midas.

0 stars would be better... Ive called this location multiple times for quotes and they're ALWAYS exceptionally more than other mechanics in Clinton. I have an 06 grand prix nothing crazy... They wanted $150 PLUS pads just to replace my brake pads. Called to see what labor would be to replace my water pump and they wont do it bc they only use their own parts (and price gouge like a mother) Refuse to let you supply your own parts even though they're from auto zone. I can understand if they were from a junk yard or something but seriously save your time and go to Richards auto repair or classic bodyworks

Busy busy shop.... Booked out a ways when I was there.. good amount of room to drop cars friendly gentleman came out and was understanding
