Absolutely the worst possible experience at the local Clinton Post Office. Our experience started with wanting to ship cakes- i know, not smart...but we didn't want to drive 5 hours to drop them off. The lady at the counter informed us priority would get our package there in 2 days, 3 at most. Our box was marked fragile and contained a styrofoam cooler. The clerk also stated insurance, knowing what we were shipping. 6 days later, no cakes. We went back to the post office, apparently the cakes went 5 hours past the delivery address and then just waited for a few days. The same clerk who talked to us about insurance was awfully quick to state that insurance does not cover perishables...something she did not offer to tell us before. The post master didn't understand the route the package took..but they all said we were SOL. The pictures are of the box and how the USPS treats fragile priority mail...everything was completely demolished. Take your business else where and save yourself money and time.

My package is out for delivery and has not showed up all day then I try too call and nobody answered they kept me on Intel they closed been having trouble getting my mail on time the post office has gone down hill

Mary was VERY RUDE, hostile and could not answer simple questions. Instead of doing her job and finding the information, her attitude worsened and she demanded I leave.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from Mary which is shocking considering she is the “post master” in charge of everything.
It fails me to understand how she promoted to that position considering how she treats customers and her lack of knowledge of her job.
And if her character was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional because of WHO she was talking to, there’s a completely different issue at hand that starts with rac and ends with ism …

The 2 women I dealt with, clerk with short hair & glasses, & the woman in the passport office weren't just experienced & professional, but genuinely kind. I had an uncommon request with updating my passport & they were both very nice & accommodating, very thankful for their assistance & helping me so quickly.

I'm had a package sent to me while here in Clinton on vacation and since the carrier didn't recognize the name for the address this person decided not to deliver the package and sent it back. I paid to have a service performed and they failed to do the job. I don't understand how a carrier has the decression wether to deliver or not based on their own opinion. Because a person isn't always at that address doesn't mean it's a scam or something is funny. People vacation, sometimes have dual residence. They did a poor job.

Post master Mary was rude and very unprofessional handling my issue. Instead of apologizeing for our package being delivered to the wrong address and admitting fault she insisted it was a neighbor who stole our package and gas lit us to believe it was delivered on the correct date. 3 days later it finally arrived past the time she said it had arrived and it was torn open with items missing. Even after explaining to Mary my neighbor physically walked in with him the day he delivered it she still denied any part of the post office having fault. I respect what the post office does but I do not tolerate being lied and gas lit by some one in charge of a business like this.

The counter staff are lovely and so helpful. I enjoy going there for that side of service. But their mail carries are awful!! They are extremely careless with packages in my name, putting them in the wrong address box. This is now constant with my packages and so I'll going to be filing an official complaint against all involved.

Extremely GREAT passport services at this location!!! I applied for an expedited passport and got it in 2 and a half weeks. Very pleased with the staff and would highly recommend to anyone looking to apply for a passport!!! ☺️☺️☺️
