This is a nice Kum & Go in Colfax. It's located just off of I-80. They make fast food to go, or they have a sit down area if you want to sit down and eat there. It's a nice, newly remodeled store. Stop in!

The fresh, homemade sandwiches here are of amazing quality for gas station food. The gas prices are cheap, and they even have ethanol-free fuel of multiple grades. Couldn't ask for more.

Stopped to get a Diet Coke and a candy bar. The total was $6.44. I paid with two $5 bills. The clerk gave me back $2.56. Shorted me a dollar. Didn't notice it till I turned away, and I turned right back and said hey, you owe me another dollar. He seemed a little surprised I caught the error. It's hard to imagine how he could've made the error since his register was totally computerized and told him EXACTLY how much change to give me back. While I can't confirm anything, from my time in retail and fast food, this is a technique clerks often used to do what's called "build a bank". They keep $1 (or some other amount) back whenever they make cash change for a customer and hope the customer doesn't catch it. Before they leave at th end of their shift, they've kept track of how many times they've done this and they steal that amount omoney out of the register so it balances when it is counted out. I would encourage Kim &Go to check on the activities of its clerks.

*This location had E15 fuel*First time inside this chain of gas stations. Very impressed with the cleanliness, the brightness throughout, the food service, and the variety of items within the store. We got breakfast from the made to order food menu, which changes automatically at 1030 from breakfast to lunch, so my pics are from breakfast. The food was delicious. The brisket sandwich was flavorful, and the ciabatta bread was soft. The chicken and chorizo bowl had great flavor with a few diced potatoes underneath. Though it may not look like a lot, it was satisfying. It was probably about the same amount that would be inside the burrito.Breakfast pizza was not an option on the kiosk but was sold by the slice in a heated rotating display (usually where you see soft pretzels hanging)Overall, it was great for my first experience. I plan to visit many more and hope the rest are just as nice.Only reason I gave 4 stars is when I asked about the rewards card, I was told I had to sign up. Obviously, I know that, so I picked up the pamphlet on the counter, and when I read I could get a rewards card instantly at the counter, I asked the guy. He reached behind other items and pulled out a card. I asked him why didn't he just give me that to begin with...no response, he just looked at me with a grin. It would've been nice to know there was a card that would have instantly worked and could have received points for my first purchase. Other than that, everything was great.

We stopped for bathroom, gas and snacks. The pump was fast. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. The staff was smiling, and they had the snacks we needed. Great gas station all around

Safe place to pull over. Local police patrol it heavily and often. Truck parking, auto parking, electric charge station. Well lit. Next to lake and park. Decent food. Staff so-so but generally helpful. Clean bathrooms. Pizzas and other hot food as well as cold food & convenience items. Beverages. They have E85, Ethanol blend, Diesel choices. Higher due to being off I-80. Slept here one night due to power outage at home and felt completely at ease. Security cameras in place. I've had truck drivers tell me they enjoy the truck parking because of room to walk and stretch out and not a ton of in-lot traffic.

Amy was outstanding. She was friendly and courteous. She greets customers and provide very good service. The store was not as cleaned as other Kum and go. They fountain area was pretty dirty. Overall. Courteous and friendly customer service overshadowed that. Love this location and recommending it.

Im done with the tony dude there. Every morning the last few weeks he is just angry at my merchandise and seems like he is 1 item away from a total meltdown. From asking him for a receipt before to him slamming my cookies in frustration of trying to scan the barcode. Not how i like to start my mornings. Also the truck pumps shutoff at $150 here. They have better hot food than caseys is all i have positive.
