This location went from the local best to local worst in a month’s time.The gym changed ownership and since that time the space has down sized by half and everything but the weights and the machines have left the floor.I’ve been a member at this location for years but I suppose those membership fees evaporated because it sure wasn’t invested in any of all the equipment that’s been taken in retaliation for the new owners not coughing up money to pay for the space as it once was I suppose.Be warned you will be barely be able to work out at this location as there are not any kettlebells, mats, bands, Trx bands, polymeric balls, bar safety clips, lifting belts, bumper weights, hex bar, rope.Good luck

Why the hell are you all never there and don't return phone calls? With the downsizing of your gym I need to cancel my membership. Just close the gym at this point ?

UPDATE: They’ve decided to downsize and equipment is disappearing. This is easily the most rundown and poorly maintained Anytime I’ve been to. It’s no longer worth the short commute with being average size and falling apart.These are just SOME of the photos of missing bolts and torn pads on the equipment I use. There’s at least 20 more photos I could take if I looked around.It’s also the only Anytime I’ve been to in the last year that still requires key fob access, no app option.I would probably give this gym 4 stars because the equipment is a bit older and a handful of upgrades could make this a much better place, but it’s actually much bigger than the average Anytime fitness.

Lost my key. 10 days later no one has returned my 7 phone calls or 3 emails. I'm paying for a membership I can't use. At this rate, we'll end up in small claims court. Go literally anywhere else on earth. Not worth it.

I’m currently standing outside because I stepped out and forgot my key, if this was the middle of the night I’d understand not being able to get but in due to there being no staff. It is 5PM this is no reason why the gym should have no staff here, reading the reviews it seems like this is an ongoing problem with this location. Along side that problem it seems like to sanitize this gum equipment you are only providing a hand full of reusable towels, who knows how many times those are use and when they are washed, very unsanitary. Will definitely not be coming back to this location

Great gym, big variety of equipment. The restrooms and showers were very clean and they have towels. The dirt lot closeby makes it very accessible for truckdrivers.

There is quite literally no actual staff working at this gym so when you want to cancel or need them or something it is impossible to cancel your membership or you will never get the help you need. Stay away.

What an AWFUL company, there is never a single person working at any point of the day and there is absolutely NO WAY to cancel a membership, and it’s not like you can just call another location to cancel since they won’t have your account. I originally signed at the iowa city location but when i called them to cancel, they didn’t have my account anymore and told me to contact coralville, but for the last 5 days of calling at various times morning-afternoon and not a single call being picked up is god awful management. this is how they stay in business, by robbing people and never having a single worker scheduled so you’ll never be able to cancel your membership. DO NOT SIGN HERE OR GO HERE AS YOUR MAIN GYM !!!!!!

Never liked anytime. This is the only equipped 24/7 gym but they never answer the phone and don’t have hours listed. Terrible customer service as usual since my membership 3 years ago.

I cancelled my membership in September and I’ve been getting billed $80 per month since then and it is now February. I have called and left several voicemails and I have not been contacted about this at all. When I call customer service they are not able to help because of how it is franchised out. I do not recommend this location at all

You will not be able to get out of your membership. Go some where else. No one is ever in the office. No one returns calls or emails. Ridiculously priced. Even after contract you cannot get out of your membership. They continue to charge after you have sent a written letter to their PO Box stating that you want to cancel your membership. Customer service is no help. You can get such a better gym experience somewhere else. Save your money and energy.

I’ve been calling to schedule a tour they never pick up. I went there myself the door was locked and nobody was using the gym. It was empty and looked like it haven’t been used in a while. Worst experience!

They have been stealing my money for months by continuing to charge my debit card even after I formally terminated my membership by certified mail. I'll be notifying the BBB about their shady practices.
