First time playing here and really enjoyed it. Front 9 is very open and not a lot of trouble to find, but still some nice holes. Back 9 was a whole different story! Very scenic and tight! Course is short; only 6,315 from the tips, bit it's a brute of a par 71. Greens were rolling very smooth. Will definitely be back.

Everything you want from a golf course. I love the way the greens roll at BD.

3.5 stars due to slow pace of play. The greens are usually in good condition but get beat up midway through the season. Beautiful course with some great holes to play.

Played this past weekend, course was in good shape overall. People need to learn how to fix ball marks. Other than that no complaints and it happens everywhere. The staff was very friendly and always there when you needed a cold drink. Thanks for the hospitality.

Good course.Definitely on the short end of things, but staff is great, and 17/18 greens were in fantastic condition a few weeks back when I played. Pretty easy setup for high level amateurs, but very fair. Make sure you're hitting the greens in the right spots, or your score will tally up. Played pretty well and shot 68 (-3), and left a few out there. If you are someone who averages 285+ off the tee, you'll be hitting wedges into a lot of holes. Par 5's play longer than the card says!

I was super excited about golfing here as it has been built up as a really good place to golf. My first interaction with the golf course was paying holiday pricing on Monday, July 3rd. I also have an Iowa PGA book so it ended up costing $25 more than I was expecting. Had I been there by myself I would have left without golfing but paid since I was invited by friends. The course itself is very aesthetic and the holes were fairly unique. Fairways were ok. Rough was in bad shape. Greens were terrible. Tons of imperfections for an expensive course. Most small town courses in the area have purer greens. My rating is definitely brought down by my initial experience. Probably 3-4 stars without that happening.

Great experience and affordable golf. Greens were fantastic! $60 for 18 and a cart! If you play from the white tees, there are drivable par 4s. I would recommend playing at least the blue tees. Great staff, beer cart, and food! Highly recommend. One of the best golf courses in the Coralville area.

Nice course. No solos unless you're not me. The screen they have on carts to show you distance is actually there for ads

Best golf experience for the money in Iowa City. Course isn't terribly difficult but is wellainrained for a municipal course. Course also has a great range and relatively affordable time with their staff of pro's.

Not sure which is the best…. The staff or the course itself! They are both fabulous! A great open but challenging front nine followed by a back nine that will take every club in your bag. Head out today and enjoy it!

The course was very nice and well kept up but the customer service was lacking, the people at the front had attitudes that will shy me away from coming back and $19 just to ride in a cart is a pretty ridiculous price just charge more to golf
