From the moment I stepped into Chick-fil-A at Coralville Mall, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting, with a warm ambiance that set the stage for a fantastic meal.The Waffle Fries: Let's start with the waffle fries. These perfectly cooked slices of potato heaven were a crispy delight on the outside, yet marvelously soft and fluffy on the inside. Each fry was seasoned to perfection, offering a harmonious balance of saltiness that complemented the natural flavor of the potato. It's not just about the taste; the unique waffle shape added an enjoyable texture and made for an appealing presentation.The Chicken Nuggets: Moving on to the star of the meal - the chicken nuggets. These bite-sized pieces of joy were cooked to golden perfection. The exterior was crispy and provided a satisfying crunch with every bite, while the interior revealed tender, juicy chicken that was flavorful and well-seasoned. The nuggets were neither too oily nor too dry, striking a perfect balance that is often hard to find in fast food.Service and Atmosphere: The service at this Chick-fil-A location deserves a special mention. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was pleasant and hassle-free. The order was served promptly, and the staff's friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made the meal even more enjoyable.Overall Experience: In summary, my visit to Chick-fil-A at Coralville Mall was a delightful experience. I don’t know what this location is doing but … Rahm aka glasses guy needs to be promoted to general manager or district manager , the service was impeccable and the generosity was absolutely crazy , Rahm is a public figure in the city of Coralville / coral ridge mall he needs to be recognized on the highest level !!! RAHM for president 2024

The positive: The food was good (but some things were cold, see negative below). It has it's own style, the chicken strips & chicken nuggets are way different than normal fast food (the batter or something is different). I really did enjoy the chicken sandwich & my kids loved the chicken nuggets, my wife disliked the chicken strips but that likely was just the different style they're cooked. So if you haven't had it before, it is NOT like McDonalds, Burger King or other fast food joints. Though, I actually liked Chick-Fil-A better than those places.The negative: So most of the problems resolved around trying to use the app but I will say the overall store was packed at dinner time and those who ordered at the counter had a long wait so be warned. But if you, like me, wanted to use the app to avoid the lines I got some warnings for you. First, the app doesn't accurately plot your location (at least not on my Samsung phone) so it doesn't prep the order ahead of time. So I had to start the order manually once I got there, meaning any hope of avoiding the wait was lost. In hindsight I should have just force started the order by saying I was already there once I got close to the mail, I advice you do the same thing. The worse though was the app said "go to the pickup area and a staffer will call your name" and showed a picture of a hanging triangular "pick-up" sign. And the store had a clear pick-up area with appropriate matching triangular hanging sign and sure enough there was staff there calling peoples names so that's where I waited. But that was apparently only the pick-up for the order-at-the-counter. The online orders were at the other end of the counter and the signage was poor/non-existent indicating that was another pickup area. Worse still, the app never said "your food is waiting to be picked up". All it said was "please wait, your order is done & will be brought out shortly". Had it said, "your food is waiting" I would have asked, but it said to "please wait" so I did. I politely waited another 5+ minutes for "my food to be brought out". After still no food I finally asked & was then informed I was on the wrong pick-up area. So by the time I actually got my food it had been over 20 minutes & the fries were cold. I did politely express my frustration at the wait & I got a sincere "I'm sorry" from the staff member but no real understanding of the inconvenience or any offer to remedy the situation. Again, the woman was sympathetic which is why I gave 2 stars for service & not 1 star. But still it was a truly frustrating experience.Overall, while the food was good I'm not sure I'll return given how horrible my initial experience was. But at least if I do, I'll better understand how to use the app (and those who read this post can also be better informed if it's their first time using the app at that store).

Ordered food at curbside dining. Eat chick fil an all the time and generally have a good experience. Food brought home tonight and they forgot my 12 piece nugget and when I called in all they did was replace that item. Disappointed more not done as I expected more.

Ordered 2 pimento sandwiches 1 a meal received 1 pimento and one regular as that is what the waiter ordered. No ketchup for sandwiches but plenty of nasty mayo.

Chick-fil-A is my absolute favorite! Their chicken sandwich is unparalleled. The family-friendly atmosphere and attentive staff create a welcoming experience. I can't resist their delicious chicken nuggets, and the seasonal peach shake is a must-try. Chick-fil-A never disappoints!

Always a happy place, staff is super friendly and helpful, plus their chicken and Mac n cheese is delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: If there's a line, I generally order on the app so it's easier to navigate.

Despite the fact that the line was very long, the wait was very short. I didn't really care for the strawberry milkshake I ordered, but the chicken and the waffle fries were on point!! The staff was extremely friendly and had a smile for each customer.
