Cannot say enough positive things about this clinic! They’re always attentive, kind, and prompt. I HIGHLY recommend them. They’re also very affordable too and a great resource to any pet owner!

We've been going here for nearly a decade and love CAH. The staff handles our very anxious pet (and pet parent) with care, and are very communicative with any issues. They are spread thin right now, as all vets are at the moment, but are still doing a great job keeping things afloat. We are very lucky to have them!

Watch out for this place. If they call and ask if you want to add anything on. Because they are try to up sell you. Ask how much. And ask for an itemize list. $ for yearly shots

I loved how attentive and caring the staff was toward my dog Gus as he has very bad anxiety. HOWEVER once going to be rang out, the receptionist told me my total she was charging to my card was $235. I happily gave them my card and even set up an appointment for my cat to get his vaccines too. A few hours later I check my bank statements on my app and I was charged $270. I was furious I called and spoke with one of the two receptionist and she broke down costs and tried to tell me the extra $35 could’ve been taxes or whatever. That’s not even what I’m upset about, I’m upset that I was overcharged and they did not try to make it right. After being put on hold she tried to say ‘oh well some of the prices have change like this one was 38.27…’ I said honey that still doesn’t add up to an extra $35 and I’m irritated because you guys overcharged my card without authorization. Needless to say I’ll be calling and canceling my appointment for my cat as this was highly unprofessional and even illegal to make an unauthorized charge/amount. I was happy to have found a caring vet but very soon realized I’ll have to look around again. I have told many of my friends not to go here due to the lack of professionalism the receptionist have displayed.

I've been taking my dogs to Drs. Molly & Anne for 3 years and I can't recommend them enough! They are incredibly understanding of my dog's anxiety and went above and beyond to make sure I could stay with him during his appointments during COVID, even coming outside to do an exam in the snow! They took incredible care with my goldendoodle when diagnosing him with epilepsy and their prescribed medication regimen has kept him seizure free for over a year. They are very transparent about their pricing and will give you an estimate & price breakdown before your visit if asked. The techs are all awesome, knowledgable, and take care of my pets as if they were their own. I appreciate how the Dr. Bies and Dr. Pelzer don't try to upsell services or sell you products your pets don't need. My sister now takes her cat here and agrees, we won't go anywhere else for our pets' primary care!

Have taken my dog here for a number of years. They send out reminders for vaccine updates and able to address any pet issues or questions that arise in a timely manner. They will continue to get my business as being a trusted customer.

Our 9 month old golden doodle went to be neutered on Wednesday and on thurs was vomiting and diarrhea. After the surgery the vet NEVER spoke to us, however we spoke to the tech. I noticed that the testicles were VERY red. The tech said it was Betadine, however being a nurse I realized it wasn't Betadine. I asked if we could see the vet and was told the tech follows up after surgery. He had vomiting and diarrhea the next day I called and THE TECH stated it isn't uncommon for the dogs to have a reaction to anesthesia but could bring him in or monitor him. On Friday he became worse. I seriously thought he was going to die. I called the office and I got a recording, no call back. I called another facility that told me where I could take him We are not from here and had no idea where to go. We ended up going to an ER VET WHO SAID HE had an infection. 335.00 later he is starting to get better. I spoke to the tech BUT NEVER heard from the vet I spoke to the hospital manager who of course took her side. The vet said she called and said she left a message . NOT TRUE! I would have welcomed that call. I am from a state where the vets truly care fore there animals . For a simple neutering it cost approximately 550.00 Shame on them thank goodness for the ER VET .I am writing this so EVERYONE is awareWhat happened to us and PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING TO HER!

They cancelled my appointment, rescheduled, and a week later when I got there they wouldn't see me, I was 12 minutes late and their policy is 10. I was late because my DOG IS SICK and POOPING CONSTANTLY. They didn't care. Didn't compromise on seeing just 1 of my pets instead of the appointment I'd made for 2. My dog has been sick for a week and I am scared. My cat only needed a shot. I don't expect special treatment, I just thought I'd be treated like a person? 120 seconds of punctuality in exchange for me never coming back? When THEY cancelled on ME a week ago? I was flexible with them and they were rigid and showed me no understanding or patience. They treated me like I was not worth having as a client on both occasions so they lost my business today.

Dr. Pelzer is thorough, in tune to petowner circumstances, takes time to answer any questions and was gentle with my new baby. I brought my new kitten to her for initial eval & look forward to switching the rest of my furbabies over! Her staff is also accommodating and friendly. Clean office without the stinky "vet office smell." (Maybe that could be a rural thing as I'm from the other corner of the state.) I was also surprised to receive a thank you post card in the mail. Sometimes an extra touch like that is nice when everyone else seems so busy & self absorbed. I thought it was a classy act.

I remember freaking out about my dog not eating one day. All clinics i tried getting her in "couldn't get her in so soon", but CAH found a short slot to examine and advise me and I can't thank them enough! I didn't need expensive tests or anything crazy, just to get competent opinion and the food they recommended was excellent.

At one time, I had as many as two cats and two dogs being cared for by Coralville Animal Hospital. I think we consumers forget to compliment businesses when they do a good job. So here I am! The vets and staff at Coralville Animal Hospital have been tremendous to work with. They care for my aging lab with kindness and support. They take good care of my neurotic cat. They guided us gently thru the euthanasia of our senior cat. They work well with the vet we use periodically near our summer home. Dr Molly Bies diagnosed an eye condition in our new puppy necessitating surgery 4 years ago with an excellent outcome. I find the group to be forthright and excellent during exams. They exude a true love for the animals they care for. I have come to really trust this practice.
