Different classes and instructors were all great even for a beginner. Loved the spacious layout of the Coralville location and free parking. Pricey considering class times aren’t every hour with consistent later options to accommodate people that work during the day (unless you come in super early). I found myself liking some class types/times in the other location more, but going to the Coralville location because I like the set-up and convenience of parking more. Also, I didn’t like the fact that the monthly unlimited option requires a 4-month minimum commitment, and that the 10-class pass is more expensive compared to the monthly unlimited class option.

I can’t say enough how much I love this place! The instructors are amazing, the studio is very nice and clean, and the community here is so welcoming. Amazing classes and heat. Could not recommend more!

I first came to hot house yoga while I was in high school about 6 or 7 years ago. I no longer live in the area but still enjoy attending classes when I am back visiting.Darcy is my favorite instructor, she always is able to offer clear instructions with modifications or extra challenges and will stop the class to show an extra tip when she notices people struggling. But I have enjoyed my classes with other instructors as well. Nikol offered some great jams, positivity and great core work this morning. I am always stretched out and sweaty when I leave!

I’m not new to yoga but new to heated classes. I procrastinated for years. I finally decided to go. Essentially had to force myself to go. I wish I hadn’t procrastinated for so long. It’s been an amazing experience. So what are you waiting for?

I grew up in Iowa City and have been a HUGE fan of Hot House for 11 years now. I've lived all over the country but have yet to find a studio as special as this one! It checks every single box I want out of a yoga class! Insightful instructors (better than any I have taken with in New York, Chicago, or Colorado) that TRULY know what they are talking about. They know that perfect balance between understanding any limitations you might have while also making sure you are getting the most out of class. (I've taken classes injured and I've taken them when I'm at my best-- each time they know how to meet you where you are at.) It has become one of my favorite places to go when I come back and I am so grateful for the safe space and community that it provides. This place is one of a kind and I only wish I could pack it up and take it with me wherever I go! (Ps-- if you're a sweaty betty like me, bring extra towels!!)

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Incredibly clean and well maintained space. I would recommend this studio to both new and seasoned yogis!

Hothouse is one of the best places I know to meet yourself on the mat. The instruction is so solid. Kindness and good humor are part of every class. Do yourself a favor and GO!!

From the start, as a beginner I have been impressed at how comfortable the instructors have made me feel...It is difficult to go through the processes of the poses, for me, but I haven't felt pressure to perform, other than self pressure.. I encourage anyone with the desire... to harness the courage to take the first step and then the second and let it happen! I've jumped right in with 4 sessions in 6 days and find I'm eager to get back!

I used to go to this studio when I lived in Iowa City. After being a member more than a year, one day I had a nervous breakdown during the class. Once I came back the owner, Tylor, very rudely told me " I don't take this Sh* anymore" . I got my money back and never went back. To this day, after attending so many yoga classes in different cities, that event still traumatizing me. It's such a shame for a yoga instructor to treat others like that. Very Uncompassionate, rude and insensitive. He is such a fake yoga instructor!

While traveling to Iowa City I found Hot House Yoga in Coralville. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality instruction and friendly staff that I encountered there. The classes I was able to attend were some of the best I have experienced! Their schedule offered a nice variety of classes at convenient times. It was really nice that they offered a Travelers Pass too. I will look forward to visiting again so that I can return to Hot House to practice!

I used to be a wrestler, football player, typical gym rat guy. My years playing sports resulted in a spinal injury. I tried many forms of treatment and therapy with little relief.I used to talk down on yoga, a requirement as a football player haha. One day when I was having a lot of back pain, I finally went to Hot House with my girlfriend after months of her convincing and I've gone everyday since! I was humbled at how hard the routines were; I could hardly do half of it. Each time I leave the studio, my clothes look fresh out of the rinse cycle. Many of the staff are very knowledgeable on biomechanics and anatomy. They are very welcoming and genuine, and all have their very own styles of teaching. Keep up the good work.
