I'm giving a 5-star review for Dawn, a remarkable support staff member at Mercy Family Medicine Coralville. Dawn went above and beyond to resolve an issue that the billing team, as usual, tried to muddle. Thanks to Dawn's initiative, I was saved from getting lost in Mercy's billing helpline maze.

Found this office for our Elderly father, last year, when we moved him to the area. Staff has always been very compassionate, patient and thorough. Would recommend to anyone looking for a doctor in the area.

Each of the steps I experienced in the care journey at this clinic were professional, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Soe, in particular is outstanding. Smart, compassionate and sees everything very clearly.

New Front Desk Staff - They're Amazing!There are negative reviews regarding the front desk staff at Mercy Family Health Coralville, but that has turned around! I've been going to this office for around 10 years, and will agree, for a long time the front desk staff was rude, but I kept going because the physicians are exceptional.They've turned things around at the front desk, I was treated with the utmost care and compassion, especially from Dawn, but everyone who helped me was very friendly. They went above and beyond to get me in quickly, were very responsive and extremely caring. I can't say enough positive things about how well the front desk staff treated me.If you have hesitations about visiting this clinic based on the previous reviews, please don't, they've turned things around and the whole staff is friendly and happy to help. It's a great medical clinic!

The receptionists/support staff here are so bad that I'm willing to start looking for a new provider after over a decade.Learn to answer the phone.

I had my first appointment with Dr Rosen and his nursing student yesterday. I was extremely please with the time and effort spent listing to both my medical history and concerns. Dr Rosen order test and scans, was very proactive with my care. In addition to this the office staff is informed and caring. I would highly recommend this medical office to anyone looking for medical care. I do not often post reviews but with so much negativity about what medical professional aren't doing I wanted people to know some places are going above and beyond for patients.

Unless you go here regularly don't go. I've been with Mercy for years and it was over a 10 minute process of repeat questions just to get stitches out

Jamie Greiner is outstanding. Unfortunately, the administrative staff and the communications between doctors, staff, and patients are BROKEN. Calls are unreturned or very late. Records don’t get sent when requested. One staff member I spoke to when I had Covid (I had to call twice to get a call back) didn’t bother to ask me questions about my symptoms—what I got was, “just take over-the counter-stuff for whatever stuff you have.” EMR hassles, incredible turnover. Simply not a reliable health system, no matter how good their doctors are.

Jamie Greiner is outstanding. Unfortunately, the administrative staff and the communications between doctors, staff, and patients are BROKEN. Calls are unreturned or very late. Records don’t get sent when requested. Failed to give Covid results, failed to return calls in a timely manner, made an error in writing a prescription and failed to return call from pharmacy trying to sort it out. You have to call 10 or more times to even get them to answer the phone. If you can get past the front desk the staff is great, otherwise I feel like we are getting third world quality medical treatment . I wish there was an option for no stars.

No one answers the phone. Takes 2 months to get in to see a provider because they’re eitheron vacation or the front desk won’t pick up for you to schedule.Took weeks and multiple calls for them to mail me the medical release form. I filled it out and returned it months ago and my records are still not transferred.The nurses and doctors are great but the reception staff is ultimately what made me leave this clinic. Worse experience ever.

5 plus stars to Dr. C. I have been going here over 10 years. I am posting this because of my recent experiences. Yesterday I tried to call the office to reschedule my appointment. I tried several times throughout the day, no-one ever answered & I was not able to leave a message. In April, I spoke to a local Pharmacist who also expressed the difficulty they had when trying to reach them. Yesterday I called 9 times, today twice before I reached Emily who said she was training a new person & they were the only 2 in the office plus the docs. So what kind of business especially medical turns their phones off for several hours during the week to train someone? On one call I pressed 3 for billing, they picked up. The woman was so kind, she tried to call from her Iowa City clinic & Coralville still did not answer!

Dr. Greiner is amazing compassionate health provider but unfortunately, the front desk service is terrible!!!

The Doctors, Nurses, PAs, etc. are absolutely amazing! However, they need to fire every since front desk staff member and start over. They are horrible and NEVER answer the phone. They will literally just sit there and let it ring like nothing is happening. If the Front desk staff was better and actual answered the phone I would give 5 stars. That issue alone is honestly annoying enough to look for a new care provider.
