My 5g home internet device was supposed to be ready in 2 days, but it was ready for pickup within an hour of me ordering it. Staff was very friendly and pickup was easy.

If I am allowed to give zero start, I would. I noted this store was rated very low before I walked into the store, but I thought perhaps I would have a different experience. It turned out I was wrong. PLEASE DON'T COME TO THIS PLACE! I checked in online and was told by their online system that there would be 4 minutes waiting time. So I waited. When it came to my turn, the staff asked me how she could help me? I told her that I like to upgrade my phone. Then, she immediately said that the transaction would need more than 40 minutes and she could not help me because there many customers that are ahead me. I looked around, and I only found one couple sitting (and they came after me) and there were in total three staff (the other two were helping others already). And There were indeed 40 minutes before the 5:00 pm closing time. So I said: well, I checked in and the system told me I only needed to wait for 4 minutes for being served, and I already did. I am now in line and is my turn to be served. The staff said she doesn't know why the system told me that, although we are using the same system provided by Verizon. and again, she said that she has many customers waiting inline. After I asked where they are, she said they are the customers driving on the way. However, I already checked in and it was my turn. I left with a huge puzzling and disappointment about their service.I don't think their staff knows their system well, respect their customers' time, and are good at what they are supposed to do.

Unfortunately, you are better off going somewhere else. Went over to Best Buy to upgrade a phone and the experience was 100xs better. Phone we wanted was out of stock, Verizon store didn't even bother to discuss other options. Waited around for over 10 minutes, another customer walks in and a minute later an employee walks out from back and helps person that just walked in. Manager was walking around, saw I have been waiting and didn't help. Then after more waiting I was finally helped but a minute later when another customer walked in, that same manager wondering around went and helped them. Bummer for sure. They were not short staff, they just don't care.

Came in for a simple phone trade-in drop-off that lasted an hour. Don't choose to drop off your old phone off at a store. Basically took an hour to print a UPS label. I could do that at the any library in 5 minutes and found a box in a dumpster, without driving 45 minutes to Coralville. Far less hassle than this cluster **** of a trade in process. I want my 2 1/2 hours of wasted time back.

I would rate this place -100 out of 5 stars. The manager was no help at all and literally hid in the back with the rest of the staff leaving many people un helped. I sat in the store for 3 hours because the manager (who’s supposed to manage this place) didn’t look up my plan and made me wait 3 hours for something that would’ve taken 5 minutes. He then sent out another worker to talk to me and hid in the back like a little girl. This is RIDICULOUS. I will be switching phone companies after this experience. Do better with your employees and their training.

Sadly, we had a very poor experience in this store. As usual, not enough support staff. The sales person was not listening to our request. Will not return to three authorized store. The retail store we went to was great!

Customer service is horrendous. You can't do this at the store and you can't do that on the phone or online. Among other things, half the time you call customer service and can't ever get a person, then when you get somewhere you should be able to talk to someone, the message says we are open specific hours, say 10-5, it's 11, but the message says they are currently closed and hangs upon you.

Staff are very slow. Usually, the customer has to wait more than 30 mins to be help, or at least that was my experience, and others who were ahead of me.

I highly recommend avoiding going into the store. Do everything online. I had to wait 40 minutes to drop off a phone I was trading-in. It was a 2 minute transaction after the wait. Should have chosen the mail-in option.

Worse experience ever switching cell phone carriers. Was given a phone with the wrong requested memory only to find out 5 hrs later when I get a notification my memory is almost full. None of my three phones were activated and working before I was told everything was done and good to go. So now I have the wrong phone and 3 phones that don't work. Stick with any other carrier as Verizon doesn't know how to take care of a simple switch
