I went in for an oil change yesterday and to have my tires evaluated due to a persistent low tire pressure alert. I was able to use a $20 coupon, so it ended up being around $70. They also found a large metal screw embedded in the right rear tire.
THEN, however, they reported my brake fluid was in dire need of being replaced and my coolant was dangerously low. I was quoted $300+ to get everything done. I tried explaining that I had an extensive brake service done last December, but the technician I spoke with was adamant my brake fluid needed to be replaced. I told him I had an appointment down the road at Tires Plus to get my tire fixed at 2 pm (mind you, I brought my vehicle in around 1) and I was told an oil change would take between 45 minutes to an hour.
As it was nearing 2, I tried to pay for my service and check on the progress so I wouldn’t be late. The same technician gave a snide remark about my perceived impatience, saying something along the lines of “We normally don’t do these services this fast for people.” Read between the lines: I should’ve been grateful they were “so quick” for me. I was already stressed about supposedly needing a $300 service on my car and needing to get my tire fixed down the street. He also knew about my next appointment, and never told me it would be an issue I scheduled it for 2 pm.
Long story short, Tires Plus did an internal patch repair of my tire, replaced my battery, topped off my coolant, and filled my brake fluid after determining the quality was fine, all for around $200. OH, and under an hour for a same day, last minute appointment.
I don’t appreciate how the technician conveyed I needed certain services done urgently for no less than $300+, only to have Tires Plus take care of the supposed issues free of charge. I will be avoiding Brakes Plus moving forward.

Received an oil change, battery replacement, and tire rotation in less than an hour. Exceptional service on my 2020 F250. I informed the technician that I was in a hurry to reach York NE, and he efficiently expedited the process. I will certainly return if I am in the area
