I have been a member of Sam's Club for more than 20 years. Although there are limitations, I generally have always been happy with my membership. POSITIVES: 1. In most food product categories, SAM's carries major brands of recognized quality.2. Prices are consistently competitive.3. Name Brand Items such as clothing often sell for significantly less than retail.4. Discounted gas with cash back credit.NEGATIVES:1. Most dry food items are sold in double/triple quantity.2. Many dry food products are available only in one brand and/or in the primary product type. I.e. one type of Prego Spaghetti sauce or JIF Peanut Butter in smooth only, 3. Products suddenly disappear. As you shop you may notice the supply of a product is diminishing. The next time in the store the product is completely gone and will never come back! Or maybe it will (maybe 10% of the time)? Some things just suddenly reappear without explanation? If you find a preponderance of items that you regularly use then, Sam's is a great superstore.

So last month I had a problem I won't go into that, but the manager after my problem text me back the picture that I will attach. Cuz he said they will fix it. They're fixed was to tell me I should have waited to renew my membership. Or that the cashier that renewed it should have told me the rules about renewing it early. Who knew they would take away what you already paid for? The real sad part is that they don't know how to go in and fix it. And that's my promise from Sam's club is just come in And we will resolve the problem. That was their fix. To tell me I should have not renewed early. Thanks Sam club Glad I made another trip down there to get this solved.

Don't advertise online that your tire shop is open on Sunday if you have no staff to work. I drove 90 miles on a donut to get a tire put on and nobody was there to fix tires.

At check out tonight we refused to do self check out. As there was at least seven others that felt the same way. Instead of the employees taking action to open more registers to check us out. We stood there for at least twenty five minutes watching one employee check everyone out. Go to leave and there's an employee at the door wanting to make sure nothing was stolen. Get it together! Hire more people to check people out.

We purchased a gazebo in February. The contractor for Sams was a No call no show and we are unable to reach them. We have had very little help from the store, they have our money and we have no product.

Called on Monday to see if they had new tires for Chevy equinox and made an appointment for Wednesday to change them out. When we got there they told us they sold the tires the night prior when they knew we would be there the next day. They said they had another brand of tire that would work and showed us used, bald tires. 0/10 would not recommend.

Went to this Sam's Club for my other catering needs. Buying in bulk works great here! A couple items to highlight, they make 30 cupcakes for about $15, they've got some healthy chip options containing chia seeds, flax, and quinoa that are very good, their rotisserie chickens are big and cheap, and they have a wide selection of meat, which is great for me! I've also heard that their produce is pretty good, which I'll try out when I need produce in bulk.

I went into Sam's Club for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was cool. I've been in Costco a few times so I knew what to expect; warehouse, bulk-style buying. But that's where the similarities pretty much end. IMO, Sam's Club is the little, annoying brother to Costco. It wants to be like his big brother, but falls short....(pun intended). It's a little overwhelming when you walk-in for the first time. Also, I went into this Sam's Club the other day and they didn't have any pies; which is a weird thing to be out of.Bulk-purchasing doesn't necessarily work for me, (it's just me and my daughter), but I could see it being great for bigger families. All in all, this specific Sam's Club was fine. It was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful, and the selection was fine. Wish the store brand had more of their own items though, like whiskey and whatnot. Also, Costco cheesecake is a ton better......Kurt, OUT!

We come to Iowa because the taxes are lower and most of the prices are lower... Always have a great tie at this store. We usually do not eat anything from The lunch area because we eat before we go shopping, today we were hungry so decided on a hot dog.. They are huge.. sad part is we had to eat while standing at our cart because they do not have tables to eat at.. Social distancing in a packed store is hard so why take the lunch tables away.. Anyways I will be a forever customer of sams club..
