Stay away. Absolutely terrible.When you get there they give you a paper to sign so they can avoid all responsibilities for any possible injuries.They do not give you any instructions before the ride, all they ask is have you ridden a horse before, after you get on the horse they give you instructions during the ride which is not possible to hear anything when you line up with horses.They might give you the grumpy horse to watch and make fun of you.Seriously stay away from this place. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS.

We had a great time on the hay rack ride at Shady Lanes. The people were friendly and the bonfire lasted the whole evening, perfect for the hotdogs and S'mores that we made. Can't wait to go back again!

I just called to get pricing and then I asked about if the horses enjoyed it or were just worn down ….. the man replied, “not sure if the horses enjoy it but I know that I don’t so I doubt they do “. I will not be booking here

What an experience!!!This was an amazing, life changing monumental experience. Staff were super attentive in helping me feel calm, relaxed and safe. The guides were extremely patient and kind. I will be visiting again in the near future. Thank you Shady Lane staff!!!

What an awesome place! We're originally from California and moved to Nebraska in 2017 and Shady Lane Ranch is a perfect example of why we wanted to live in this area. This was our first visit here and it didn't disappoint. We'd never heard of a hay rack ride but they had us at bonfire! ? The ride itself was more comfortable than I thought it would be and I'm really glad we had a rack with sides to lean against for the hour plus ride. According to our local friends, we visited on a "slow" night so we didn't get to experience the famous hay wars that happen when racks full of drunken passengers pass by each other. We were well prepared for it though (no fuzzy clothes for the hay to stick to). No worries, maybe next time! That being said, the ride was fun, the view from the lookout point was phenomenal, and returning to a lit bonfire waiting for us was icing on the cake. We had a blast and can't wait to visit again. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. You won't be disappointed.

We had a great time! I took my niece for her first time on horseback and they chose just the right mount. The trails were beautiful and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

I just seen I left a 1 star. Charlie I am sorry. But there at Shaddy Ranch that was when I rode my first horse back in 1990. Great hay rack rides by far. We always went on top of the hill super good spot.
