They have a really awesome assistant manager who is very knowledgeable, courteous & kind, and helpful too. Goes that extra mile to help you solve any problems you might have with your cell phone or figure it out for you.

I have had a terrible experience with this store. I purchased a home internet plan from them. I enrolled in paperless and auto billing so I may receive a discount. NEVER AGAINOut of 14 bills 12 have been charged incorrectly I have had them fix these issues on multiple occasions. My last attempt was in august they even acknowledged it again and fixed it again. I let my account cancel a couple months later because they were still over charging my account which made there not be enough funds for the next auto payment.So US Cellular was voiding my contract fist by overcharging since the first month I had them.On January 3rd 2024 I went in to pay off the remaining balance on my account. I waited 20 mins to be helped by anyone. Then after about 20 mins more they stated they cannot accept cash to pay the account balance. Because I no longer wish to have an account with them. When I stated that I wouldn’t pay it then if there not going to accept my cash the manager threatened me it would go to collections then.So he had me call they customer support number. I waited on hold for almost 15 mins then had that person transfer me to a supervisor then another 25 mins on the phone. They stated I can pay by debit or credit card. I do not trust them to do so because of 12 inaccurate charges they have made to my account. Which I stated to them. Then they suggested I go elsewhere to buy a pre-paid card to pay them I said no. They then suggested I go elsewhere to a bank to pay though money order I said no I have cash and am already at a US Cellular. The manager interpreted me twice while I was on the phone with their support they had me call so I filliped him off twice. The other female supervisor I spoke to I asked if I owe money she stated I did. I then read to her that US currency is good for all debts private and public. Her response was to say that my bill wasn’t necessarily a debt. She also refused to give me a copy of my past bills which show them overcharging me because I stated I need them for my lawyer. When I stated I need them for my lawyer thats when she said she can no longer help me. On January 4th I had the police come to the store and have now been trespassed from the store but I was told I can go to any other US Cellular. So now I’m trespassed but I have a body cam video of them admitting to refusing to accept US currency for a debt they claim I owe.Sad place gonna speak with there upper management about getting Un-Trespassed because I did nothing illegal just trying to pay what I owe and get the amount fixed again due to their incompetence.

My Experience US cellular is a good phone provider to use, I have a much better experience with a representative over the phone by 611, than I do with a in person appointment and or visit in the Creston IA store. My past visit with them was last weekend, I needed to price check a new phone, I was given the homeland background treatment from this store adding to the fact the lady was very snarky and loud about it. Needed to run my drivers license and SSN, BEFORE I could even have an idea what a newer model phone was going to cost as upgrade(really!), I reached out to corporate for policies on this matter. This is why I order my other replacement phones from Amazon and or eBay.

I habe haf good service and has been my only cell phone company.I do have to say teir specials can be confusing when reading the bill.The bill is not easy to read on a normal basis but have gotten used to it and asking questions

Will never give this store any more than a 1 star. Yes they are a corporate store so they can kinda do whatever they what to. Bad thing is been with them for years amd the service isnt reliable at all. I have a new tower 7miles from my house with nothing but corn fields between it and i. Lose calls all the time. Way over priced. If i have to go into the store i always call the 800 number 1st so there are notes. And there service DOES NOT work every where like there commercials say. I know i travel for work all over the US and east coast, down south all in that area good luck. I mean i lose service just outside town. I do agree on how they over price there phones as well. Took my new one back to them and it took them almost a month to send it back in. Funny thing was i was on there pre paid for a few years before i went to contract. My prepaid worked actually better as far as service wise. Only reason everyone has them cause they the only ones in Creston, wish Verizon or at&t was here heck even Sprint. I use Verizon for work phone, with no service in this area works better so use it more than us cellular phone.
