I’m in there about every week. It’s always easy to get in and out. And the employees know where everything is. I managed a hardware store, for years, so I appreciate it.
I need a key for my dead father’s screen door, and a few months ago I went to get a key cut, and they didn’t have a blank. Nobody stocks that old blank.
I did the lock rekeying and keys at the lumber yard, and I have an account with the key wholesalers, so I got a bag of those keys.
I went back to get 4 keys made, and the young woman didn’t want to be bothered, and said she could only cut their keys. So I offered the the bag of ten keys for a dime, a penny a key, and then they would be theirs and I could get 4 keys cut, which l was willing to pay full price for.
But no, she didn’t want to do them, so I left.
When I get near K&K Hardware I’ll get them there.
I’ll keep shopping there, but it’s disappointing that she would turn down a sale 😀

They don't have everything, but they usually have just enough of what I need. The staff is helpful.

Now THIS IS A HARDWARE STORE!! I was very happy to discover this place. I had a list when I arrived and found everything I needed. I also found items I'd been searching for since I arrived I in town. They also have friendly, knowledgable help on site.

They always have employees ready to help you. Anything you are looking for, they have it. Great service always
I stopped in with a item that is not out for purchase. And I wanted to repair it, and within 15 minutes a solution was found, and the repair was made.

They say Disney is the happiest place on earth... This Ace is absolutely without a doubt the friendliest place on earth. I thought I would spend an hour looking for the thing that connects to thing on the back of the whatchmajig. They knew exactly what I was looking for and took me straight to it. I love this place and it's people! They get all my hardware business.

Total life saver!! Called and went EVERYWHERE possible in the quad cities looking for Black and Decker power tools needing a charger for mine and not only are they the only ones in the QCA to carry B & D tools but also had what I needed. Awesome staff as always, thank you so much Ace!!
