We reserved a beautiful King Suite. The halls were really hot in 1 spot then freezing cold in the next.We were all set it the room & getting ready to use the whirlpool in the room so wanted the TV on; remote didn't work, no batteries so frondesk decided to bring 2 others to try but they didn't work, their bright idea is to move us to a small cramped suite. How about putting batteries in the remote? The restaurant was amazing, great bartender & waitstaff. Food was great as well as the drinks.Morning breakfast was just ok. The waffle timer wasn't working. The eggs were dry. The sausage was bland. OJ had to much pulp.Rooms: The king suites are not all alike, 1 would be a beautiful big room that you could relax & watch TV from the sofa then the next is so small that you run into the dresser when you get out of bed to use the bathroom. There was no way to watch TV from the sofa in the small room.Food & drinks: Great food at the restaurant. The bartender knows what he is doing. The waitstaff is friendly as well as knowledgeable about the food.Breakfast could use some help, I know it was included in the room price but.....

As has been mentioned by others, the hotel is being renovated. The lobby and parking lot smell like sewage. The elevator is sketchy. The renovated rooms are very nice with two major exceptions and several minor ones. There is no working Internet. The front desk was incapable of correcting the problem. I convinced them to try resetting their router. They promised working Internet in 10 minutes. When we checked out the next day it still was not working. The room was filled with light from an outside parking lot light. Horrible. The skimpy curtains did not keep the light from shining directly on the bed. I tried hanging my clothes over the curtains but the light was not to denied. There are no coffee makers in the rooms..they were removed during the renovation. The bath towels are on par with hand towel at most other hotels.And...when we checked in, a "working girl" and her escort were heading out for a night on the town.... very interesting.I felt the room should have been discounted and they should be informing people of the conditions.

Outside of the hotel smells constantly bad for some reason. The water smelt bad and the Inside of the hotel smelt like sulfur. A lot was being worked on inside, seems like some places inside should have just been closed off until completely finished. The room was nice and new however whoever did the work on painting tile carpet ect, all did a bad job all around like bad paint job bad everything but that’s whatever. Beds were comfortable and clean. Had a light breakfast that started a little later in the morning than ideal, food was alright. The waffles were strangely sour.

The pictures must be 20 plus years old. This place was a dump and looked like a war zone. I called my 3rd party app for a last minute cancellation to make sure I wouldn't be charged. Poor condition and pool was closed. They should at least tell you they're renovating in the pool is closed on the website with current pics. The hotel is blue

Hotel looks NOTHING like photos! I felt terrible for the lady at the desk! It is under renovation but it was not great anyway. Had to switch rooms 3x. Elevator was sketchy! Beds were comfy. Room was very clean. TV had zero channels that came in. Not even basic. For the price I can't complain and God bless the front desk gal for sure.Breakfast room was HOT. My husband sat next to the ac to be able to eat.

Pulling up to the property was scary, it almost looks condemned. The building was completely painted blue (nothing like the pic on web) and the parking lot full of potholes. Inside the front door is what appears to be an amateur renovation, paint splattered everywhere and drywall-mud tracked on the tile floors and stair carpeting. I honestly was afraid of what I'd find in the room but was actually pleasantly surprised. It clearly had been renovated and was nice for the price paid. Even had Paul Mitchell shampoo. However no in-room coffee. I think I'd look for somewhere else to stay though had I known the overall condition of the hotel.

Rooms are mediocre , they're ok. I wouldn't get this place again unless I have a car rental. The front desk lady is absolutely fantastic. Really nice. The pool is broken and hot tub too. They're under construction and it looks like a mess. Not the best place but not the worse.

We were heading to DC and stopped here for the night. There is renovations work going on the hotel and the pool is closed to store material. The price for the room reflects that. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, It was great! The bed was the most comfortable we slept on the entire trip both ways across country in places that cost 4 times as much, The breakfast was the standard waffle fair with other wholesome options. The staff was fantastic. I left my CPAP charger in the room and Dorethy mailed to my home on her lunch break. I was very grateful and impressed.Rooms: newly renovated

I had a nice room it was clean and spacious. Although I left before breakfast it is included with your stay. Right now they are renovating so alot of the areas were closed off. The front of the hotel leaves a bit to desire, as it appears trashy, but I assure the clerks were very friendly and the rooms are very nice.

Cheap but disgusting. Looks like it used to be a hospital clinic, not much has yet been done to make it feel less haunted. The place smells many different kinds of awful. It's inconveniently located. My room had a motion sensor on the vanity light that could not be disabled, which appears to be a recently installed "feature". I had to tape a towel over it to be able to sleep. No pool, it's down for renovation. Undersized, creaky flophouse mattress on a perilous bedframe. I like it cold, so I appreciated the tiny, damp-feeling blanket and the paper-thin walls. I hated this stay, and it hated me back.

It a clean hotel. Pool has been closed for some time. The “business center” (a non working computer on a counter you stand to use) is a joke. A non smoking hotel that allows drugs to be smoked on property. Blood stained lamp shade, fluids spilled on walls, dirty shower curtain, I can’t imagine this place being opened 6-12 months from now. The Super 8 down the street is MUCH cleaner.

Got to the hotel and pool and hot tub were closed (website said nothing) then they charged us a $200 security deposit when the room was $64/night. Elevator sounded like it could break down any minute. Trash laying all over stairwell, bleach stains on carpet, shower curtain was sticking together, no can cover on bathroom light and vent was hanging off the wall but no switch for it to work anyways. The provided one roll of TP and said no smoking but hallway reeked of marijuana. It appears that staff and construction workers are just living there. Got back from a night out and front doors were locked we had to knock to be let back in. Might be cheap but still not worth it!!

When we first arrived I noticed the outside looked nothing like the photos on here. Mattresses piled on the side of the building, 10 car heights high. Everything was dated and filthy. Tiles missing in the bathroom and our air conditioner looked disgusting. Definitely do not recommend and will never stay at another baymont due to this experience. In the morning we called down to verify check out time being noon, as displayed right on the door and on the website. Office personnel stated we would have to pay 10.00 if we wanted to check out at noon. It was 10:30 & the maid came in trying to clean out the room when we were told 11am was check out via the phone call literally seconds before. Did not attempt to eat the continental breakfast because after you see the place, you Definitely don't want to eat there.

This place is very dirty. The room smells like cigarette smoke, there is a lipstick mark on the mirror where someone kissed the mirror, the wall next to the bed has lots of dirty shoe prints and other gross stains and the chair in the room has a bunch of stains and looks like they grabbed it from behind a Salvation Arny store. The elevator looks like it hasn't been swept in weeks. There's an overall neglect of the hotel. The hotel is also very loud and has very thin walls. The room on one side of me has had the television on all night and the guests (hotel owners?) on the other side have been talking all night and keep slamming a door that shakes the wall behind my bed. This was happening when I went to bed at 10:30 pm until I woke up at 5:30 am.

We booked through Expedia, we will never stay here again. First I spoke to the front desk because we added a room to our stay. No one representing the hotel mentioned they are under renovations, but expect to pay full price. They use the renovations as an excuse to not upkeep the hotel. The room my mother in law stayed in had cigarette burns everywhere. Our room, our curtain was half torn down, the alarm clock was blinking, the phone was broke, found hair in our towels, the iron had a sticky substance on the bottom of it. These are items that could be taken care of regardless of renovations. The hotel hallways were not kept at all, it looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed for months. The breakfast bread was stale and the waffle mix had a sour smell. Do NOT waste your money! They need to fire the staff or bulldoze the building down no exaggeration
