A JOKE. The flooring department guy failed to tell me that I had to call their 3rd party installers to set up an installation date separate from the delivery date. After I already disconnected my washer, dryer, and toilet for the installers.

Where to start?
Well, first and foremost, if I could rate 0 stars, I would. I came in for a couple things, to warranty a Craftsman toolbox, 2 12 ft 6x6 posts, concrete, post hole jabbers, and a dirt tamper.
Started off with trying to warranty my box, got a whole run around and attitude from Customer Service, only to finally be told that I could not swap my box out because they "didn't have it anymore." You're right, you didn't have THAT part number, but you had the box... YOU CHANGED THE PART NUMBER!!! Craftsman is only a 10 year warranty now and if you buy one, be prepared for them to change the part number on you.
Found the 6x6's, they were a pain to get to. I made eye contact with an employee while I was trying to load this 12 ft piece of treated wood and he spun around on his heels and walked away from me. Customer service must not exist?
Had to ask where the concrete was, because the aisles are so damn congested and it is not easy to find what you're looking for. 80 pound bags of concrete are above your head, while lighter ones are below it... How the hell does that make sense??? Made eye contact with TWO employees while I was struggling to get these bags and they stood there talking to each other, showing each other their phones... Excellent work ethic!
Going back to how congested the aisles are, trying to navigate this store with 12 foot posts is not ideal, almost impossible without hitting something.
Veterans! Lowe's offers a discount for you, but only if you make an account and verify through an entirely different company. Your ID being on your person does not matter! Whether it be on your Driver's License, VA Card, or ACTUAL military ID.
By the time I had even thought about jabbers and a dirt tamper, I was out the door and fuming. I was so damn pissed off that I forgot those specific items while I was in the store.
This was my first real experience with Lowe's and I am not impressed. I will not be shopping with Lowe's again, I will be going to Menards and suggest that anyone reading this does the same.

If I could rate 0 stars I would!! Bought a faulty whirlpool dryer with a 3 year warranty. PAID for delivery for them to DROP it in the street from the truck causing the motor to fall off the bracket. Wanted to return but lowes said I can’t do that with the warranty??? Makes sense??? So warranty people came out to fix it 2 times. Heat doesn’t work on the dryer now :) lowes STILL won’t return it. & the lady in customer service hung up on me (also clueless) this is now & ongoing issue for 2 months & still never got to even get 1 load out of the dryer!!! canceling my credit card as soon as I possibly can :)

The so called appliance installers refused to install my refrigerator because i had a waterline hooked to the ice maker/water dispenser. Sounds like a pretty standard setup for a simple refrigerator delivery and install in my opinion. F-

Staff went out of their way to get the flooring we needed from a pallet on a top shelf! Much appreciated!

Came here to get some glass panels cut for cabinet doors and of course they don’t have a blade to cut glass. You’d think they’d have extras on hand. Hour round trip for nothing, I guess it’s my bad for not calling first and assuming they’d be able to do a simple task.

“In stock” “122 available” “Ready for Pickup”
Website and app says it’s in stock. It’s not. Not even carried at the store. 4th time this has happened with Lowe’s.

Ordered a washer and dryer 2.5 weeks out and told it would take 5-7 business days to get everything there but we gave plenty of heads up. Day of delivery heard nothing till a driver calls that they're heading my way. Then another call 10 minutes later saying everything was pulled off the truck because something hadn't arrived. Monday of the next week got a call saying they can deliver Friday (today). Turns out now the dryer is damaged and they can't deliver it, but they can get one here tomorrow. Now the system won't let them select the dryer for delivery for tomorrow but I would have to purchase it again and do a refund after delivery. All the meanwhile we have had to drive to the old place and do laundry there which is a 15 minute drive both ways. This is absolutely pathetic customer service overall.

ZERO STARS! I spent nearly 8k on appliance that were to be delivered on set day. I spent 3 hours there to ensure everything was in stock & available for delivery. Nothing showed up. I spent another 4 HOURS in the store cancelling the order and getting it refunded to the credit card I opened. Credit card statement arrived and there was still 3k owed on an order I NEVER RECEIVED. This took me HOURS on the phone with the credit card company to determine what was not refunded and multiple trips back to Lowe's to request refunds. I had to request a refund from the 3rd party to refund the warranty FOR ITEMS THEY NEVER DELIVERED. I ended up paying off the card to avoid interest charges and it hurting my credit. I spent so much time and was shorted a few hundred dollars for appliances I NEVER EVEN had in my possession. If you cant open the box to see what you are getting and carry it out of the store yourself DO NOT TRUST LOWES!
Added: I reached out to Lowe's via phone, email, in person and through the BBB. I filed multiple reports to multiple different corporate Lowe's through the website, the credit card and the BBB. Lowe's ABSOLUTELY does not want to talk to me or want to fix this or they would have. Please don't lie on my review of my experience and try to make it look like you want to fix this. I had 60 days no interest and you REFUSED to fix it. LOWES DOES NOT WANT TO FIX IT. PERIOD. AGAIN, I NEVER GOT THE ITEMS!

I was visiting Lowe's to purchase items for a garage project. The person who waited on me helped immensely and walked me to the different areas I needed in order to complete my list of items. When I checked out, I was provided my veteran discount and thanked for my service. Great experience all around.

I would not recommend purchasing Samsung appliances from this location. The closest authorized repair facility for warranty claims is 2 1/2 hours away. They only have one technician that comes to this area once a week. When I purchased this appliance I was told any warranty work would be completed by a local authorized company. I have a technician coming for the third attempt to repair a $300 microwave in April, 60 days after I scheduled my first service call. Samsung refuses to replace the microwave until after the third repair attempt. The technician in past visits has replaced all the control boards and spent over an hour on the phone with Samsung support. Lowe’s will not take the appliance back because they have a two day return window for appliances, and the microwave was installed and found to be defective after that window had closed.

This review is in regard to the Davenport, Iowa location only.
A few weeks ago, I stopped into Lowe's with my boyfriend to find a plumbing part. As we searched the aisle, it became apparent that we needed advice. While my bf continued searching for the right product, I searched for an associate to help us.
After walking the entire plumbing section, including the fixtures and appliance sections, I finally saw an associate in the carpet area and asked her if we could get some help in the plumbing section. She called for someone to come to the relative aisle to help over the intercom.
I walked back to that aisle only to see my bf still searching. Then, I noticed a Lowe's employee at the other end of the aisle. Apparently, he did not hear that loud announcement because he never approached us. I asked him if he could help us. We explained our situation and he listened. After we finished asking our question, he replied, "Yeah. I don't know anything about this stuff. My manager sent me to watch this section but I have never been trained."
When I asked him if there was anybody that could help us, he replied, "Probably not. The management here does not know what they are doing."
We left.
The next week, I returned to this Lowe's to get some keys made and to look at door locks. Additionally, I wanted to purchase a hardware cabinet I had seen earlier. After waiting for 5 minutes by the cabinet, an associate came over and then called for a hardware associate. It was the same associate that could not assist my bf and me the week before. I asked him about the cabinet's price because it had two tags on it. He simply said, "well, then it must be the total of the two tags." and he walked away. I decided to not buy the cabinet.
We walked through the hardware aisle to look for the key maker and door locks. As we stood in the aisle, we noticed an associate at the end of the aisle doing something on a machine. We also saw the "cabinet" associate standing near the other employee and doing something on his phone. Neither one of these employees approached us or even indicated they would help us when they finished up whatever they were doing.
We left the store and headed to Home Depot. Wow! We got some help making the keys by a wonderful associate who also helped us pick out the door pieces wee needed.
I recently purchased a home that needs some work done. I also received an inheritance that will help me purchase the materials I need to do that work. I stopped at Lowe's first because years ago, I represented a company that had its products in Lowe's stores. Back then, Lowe's was known for their knowledgeable associates. I am not sure what happened but I can assure you, I will never walk into that Lowe's store again! I imagine the Moline Lowe's is fine but I think I will just become a Home Depot customer from here on out!

Horrible customer service by management. They have been giving me the runaround. For a while, nobody acknowledged the fact that my doors were still not replaced.
I bought three doors from Lowe's in Davenport, Iowa in May 2022. The doors included a back patio door, a fireproof garage door, and a main entry door. The doors were delivered by their contract installer team. At the time of delivery, it was the cold fall/winter months. These contractors decided to replace all the doors at once instead of doing them one at a time. They arrived around 7 am and left around 5 pm. Unfortunately, all three doors were defective from the manufacturer. To make matters worse, throughout the day of the installation, the installers made racist jokes, showing no regard for our presence or the fact that my 11-year-old heard them.
The doors were installed with scratches, splits, dents, and other issues. The front screen door was not installed and was left in my garage because they planned to reorder all three doors and come back to install it. However, fast forward to today, and nothing has been done. None of the three doors have been replaced, and the one door that was ordered three times was always incorrect. Despite being in contact with the assistant store manager, he has been ignoring me. It seems like they have no idea what they're doing and keep shifting the blame onto each other. To add to the frustration, I've had to rent a storage unit to store the screen door all this time.
