Come on, almost 2 hours to get an oil change & tire rotation, then presented with a list of other repairs they said needed to be done with total over $1000. What a bunch of bull.I know they'll advise you of things that need attention but my car has been properly maintained from the start. Other repair shops can do those routine items for a fraction of the price. It's apparently a practice for Smart since they did the same thing to my daughter at the Toyota dealership when she brought in her almost-new corolla for an oil change.

Was an alright experience except I heard through the grapevine (a relative who went and purchased a Honda a week after I did) that the story about my trade in was being spoken of, and not even factually. Yes my car had a salvaged title, yes they accepted the trade, yes they gave me a small amount- that I didn't have to take, yes the vehicle I purchased was over KBB value, but after hearing that my deal was being spoken about falsely, I think I will be shopping for my next Honda at a different location. Don't talk about people's deals when you don't know how connected they are, I did like your store prior to hearing this.

I bought a new 2024 Honda Hr-v on 7/28/23. Greg, the salesman was great, friendly & made sure I was good. He was very friendly & helped make sure the whole process was as smooth as possible. So he gets 5 stars for his part!Dealership definitely wants you to be happy. They have free water, sodas & coffee while you wait!I did buy an extended warranty & decided I didn't want that one (only really wanted the tire & wheel extended warranty), so I asked the dealership to cancel it & they did get it cancelled & my money refunded after I contacted them a few times.I am loving the new Honda & am glad Smart Honda could help me out!

Edit: service manager Steve spoke to me today and accepted responsibility on behalf of the team. He did do what he could to make it right, which I do commend him for. He didn’t try to deny or skirt around it - they owned the mistake, which is worthy of recognition.I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but when my and others safety is jeopardized by a blatantly careless error, I must speak.I brought my Honda Ridgeline in for a frame recall, which involves them dropping the gas tank and part of the frame to inspect for corrosion and repair as needed. This service was handled in a timely manner and all of the staff were delightful to work with. However, they failed to re-connect the hose that runs from the filler neck (where the gas nozzle goes) to the tank itself. This was evident today when I went to the gas station and attempted to fill my gas tank, only for all of the gas to come gushing out onto the ground, making a huge mess, and landing on the hot muffler, which caused the gas to sizzle, nearly starting a fire.I understand mistakes happen. However, this mistake could have been fatal. My car was under the pavilion at the gas pump where a good 20 other cars were. If the gas hitting the muffler would have ignited, there could have been a massive explosion, which could have caused severe injury. This is truly unacceptable. Myself and everyone around me at the time are very lucky that the fumes did not ignite.I am dumbstruck as to how someone could ignore such a blatantly simple issue, especially considering that the car was in there for a recall involving a fuel leak.To give credit where it is due, Emily the service advisor was excellent to work with. Very understanding.Smart Honda truly needs to evaluate their technicians. This “mistake” was easily avoidable. They are very lucky that this did not end up with a serious emergency. Myself and all the people at that gas station could have lost their cars, their property, the gas station and surrounding property could have been damaged or lost, but above all - people could have lost their lives because of that technician’s error. I am incredibly upset by this incident.

It was stormy, but we did get our new car with the greatest guy - Greg. He was so nice, offered cake and even sheltered the new car from hail!!!! Yes he took an umbrella and cover the car from the hail... several months have passed, and we always smile when we remember his kindness and over the top costumer service... last week, we needed a favor.... and he didn't hesitate to give us a hand even when he was in the middle of a deal..... I recommend ?

Took car in for routine maintenance, everything went OK. Scheduled another appointment for a recall. Had a lot of add-on suggestions for more service. So far so good we'll see how the next appointment goes. Did not do any of the add-ons.

Gave us our car back with the suggestion of checking for an oil leak. It had never been dripping on the ground before but started to recently so I put it on the car ramps to check the oil plug and it's completely stripped. Called to let them know and all they had to say was they have a video stating that it need to be checked for a possible oil leak and accept no responsibility for stripping the oil pan plug and not telling me about it. I would say its unbelievable but it's what Ive gotten used to from dealerships and is the reason why I usually do my own service. Lesson learned. Thanks but no thanks. I fixed it myself with a tap and larger bolt. A picture of a drip of oil at the bottom of an oil pan is no justification or stripping my bolt and not telling me. I wouldn't trust you guys to put air in my tires at this point.

Went here after my vehicle was declared a total loss by insurance from a car accident. My wife's and I sales rep Travis Morgan and Robert in finances were excellent to work with! 10/10 experience with those two. Would definitely come here again for my vehicle needs.

I took my car into the service department last week as I had a nail in one of my tires. The cost was $376. I thought that was a little high, but I needed the tire. Then, this weekend, I ended up with another nail in another tire. This time I took it to Zimmerman in Moline. The cost was $260. For the same tire. Wow, what a difference. Is called Smart and was told each dealer could determine their own prices. So, basically, I told "tough".

I think the worst part of getting a car serviced at the dealer is the amount of time it takes. I was greeted promptly for my Saturday 7:30 appointment. I'm getting a courtesy oil change and tire rotation on my recently purchased 14 year old Toyota. But at least I have a puzzle to work. I mean that's a cool idea. A puzzle of a movie about mental health to work on as you wait. Seems like a long time, I'm not sure if it's "free" if it takes over an hour. However, the staff are very pleasant, and the waiting room has beverages and two TVs. The explanation from the service advisor, Jami Congdon, was very helpful. She explained the delay, and was excellent at calming me down.

Chase and the staff at Smart Honda were great! Professional and knowledgeable. I never felt pressured to buy and they Chase was happy to answer all my questions. I appreciate the transparency, throughout my purchase process.

Worst dealership we've ever done business with. They scam you with window etching and nitrogen filled tire add-ons. They don't listen to the customer (no means no). They falsified purchase documents (changed the purchase date so it would count for the previous quarter). They asked us to sign blank power of attorney forms. They also did not have a notary public present for the forms needing to be notarized (they said it would be done "in the office" the following Monday). When we declined their warranty, they got aggressive. Read your contracts carefully! The purchase price was incorrect on ours and they also did not calculate the taxes or DOT fees correctly. I was very clear on how I wanted the vehicle titled, but that was not done correctly either. If it hadn't been for the car shortage we would never have gone through with purchasing from this place. Buyer beware!

Outstanding customer service. Best car buying experience ever. Greg was great and very helpful. Finance team was very good, helped me a lot. Even service department washed my car and did a great job with the inspection. If I’m in the market for a new car I would definitely look here first.

I had the best experience with Chase Crull today. Not only was he knowledgeable but very friendly as we sought to purchase a vehicle. Chase is the person to go to simply because he will take his time and guide you to making the right choice. I highly recommend if you are searching for your next car to check out Smart Honda in Davenport and ask for Chase.

I counsel and educate people for a living. Not having a reliable vehicle was frustrating. I visited Smart Honda and met Chase Crull and shared my car journey with him. Chase was my counselor, he listened and shared appropriately. Then asked me to wait a minute, showed me a nice truck and invited us to test drive it. I own that vehicle today. I walked away, a very satisfied customer. I drove away and I think it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned to date. Go to Smart Honda and ask for Chase he will set you up.
