Never had issues with Mediacom in the past but, this year has been terrible. There have been days where the internet will be working all day then all of a sudden sometime in the evening hours it slows down immensely. I can’t play any games on my Xbox can’t use the internet on my phone and have to resort to the LG service. It’s pathetic! For it to go from working completely fine to not working in a split second with nothing changing on my end tells me that something is wrong on Mediacoms end but they are not willing to admit it. I really hope that Metronet becomes available at my apartment complex because this is ridiculous.

I am about to lose my job because of the unreliable Internet service provided by this company. Stay away from Mediacom (Xtream), I work from home and it's very frustrating no having the service that I signed and pay for.

These guys are awful. Non-responsive to inquiries and discussing service changes is impossible. Make sure you stop autopay if you change service because they charge your account ignoring the service modifications

We have had Mediacom as no other is available. Been trying to transfer service for over 2 months. Call 800 number and only get someone in Philippines that puts you on long hold times and unable to help resolve. Literally moving 6 miles to new house built. Been told address recognized, checked with post office and it is valid address, move in 10 days still no response. Ask for supervisor told none available and one will call. Never have called. I do not pay prices to have people offshore who know nothing of area. Anyone can google earth.

If I could give a 0 I would! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!! Outages, Customer service, BUFFERING GOOD GOD THE BUFFERING. Having a tech hang up on you every time! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

This provider is pure garbage. I've been billed for hidden charges, had my rates go up due the ending of a promotion that I wasn't told I was on, and my internet is constantly going out. Don't choose this company.

Used to have zero problem with Mediacom Internet till they forcefully added their Eero box that you cannot unplug or your entire internet drops, they used to have one Mediacom provided modem that acted as a router and never had any issues with it till this and now the connection drops every 30 minutes and you’d expect after paying $150 a month for 1000 download you would get a proper constant connection but you’d be sorely mistaken. Do better Mediacom cause I’ve been with you for years and this is causing me to look elsewhere such as Century Link. You better offer solutions and fast or you won’t be operating for much longer atleast in the internet sector but from what i’ve been told your TV just took a massive loss as well.

Mediacom what can I say everything but good things. So memorial day pipe burst cutting off internet. Tech came out sorry can't fix for 72 hours. Not a huge deal but 4 days not cool. Exactly 1 week later. As of 6/6/24 Internet out again. Tech comes out sorry 72 hours before they can fix. BUT only house in the neighborhood that has the problem. The 72 hour s to dispatch "blind" repairman. Unsure of sending a Tech out just to tell people I can't fix it. Mediacom you really need to improve the standards you have set in place.

I paid to get service installed , explained I work from home and need internet asap cause I start work on Sunday. The tech showed up Saturday walked in and said we can’t give your apartment internet and walked out. I called Mediacom customer service as soon as he just walked out. Their answer was oh you have to get rescheduled for next week. So I waited here all day for them and the tech who was super rude had headphones on blaring music was in my place for under a minute and left saying he can’t provide me services. Customer support said I have to wait another week cause I have to get rescheduled? How on earth is that good business? Oh your tech just waked out, now you have to be inconvenienced and wait another week. And we won’t do anything to get you internet today even though you were told you would get it today since you start work tomorrow.

Honestly, the worst internet provider I’ve ever dealt with. Working from home, I need reliable service. Mediacom is not that! Customer service is unaccommodating — with lots of silence on their end when asked a question — and then the inability to actually provide an answer and without any empathy. Frustrating to say the least. Time to try another service. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d appreciate it. Mediacom’s regular service outages have become unbearable
