Absolutely awful stay, the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. The pool was down, and my kids were excited to swim, the room key did not work, so we just pushed on the door and it opened, the toilet ran all night long, then, when my son got up and blew his nose in the night, he went to flush the Kleenex, and the toilet would not flush at all, there were bugs in the window, dirty carpet, a crack in the shower flooring, that if you stepped on it, it would pinch your feet, the door handle to the bathroom did not work, Extremely dirty on the toilet and the bathroom floor in general, looks like they barely ever clean, The smell in the motel was not pleasant. DONT COME HERE!!!

The bathroom was disgusting urine still on the toilet seat and around the toilet. Dead bugs throughout the room. Used soap still in the shower. Coffee packs still in the coffee maker. My Mom and step father traveled with me and stayed in adjacent room and their room was in similar condition. We chose this location because it was close to hospital that my mom was to have Angiogram performed the next day. This place was Absolutely disgusting conditions. I would never stay here again.

Dirty hotel that fraudulently stole $400 from my account after my husbands 12 day stay was already payed for. Woke up to a charge they couldn’t explain. Refused a refund until I got corporate on the phone, then we instantly got a refund. Still unable to explain what this extra $400 charge was. Wouldn’t waste your time here as management wasn’t helpful and was just yelling at the employee who was trying to resolve the problem. Dirty hotel that steals money. Management is rude and unhelpful in anyway. Sent a guy who came down to tell them his bathroom was dirty when he checked in to clean there own toilet, black mold in the showers, floors haven’t been swept in what looks like years. Contacted the local health department.

It's a nice hotel, Great location right off Interstate 80, Clean and comfortable rooms I just wish the indoor pool was functioning, Could have a much better variety for breakfast, And they need to put more towels in the rooms. One towel and a king sweet with a Jacuzzi. Tub for 2 people doesn't cut it, I have had to ask for towels the last three times I have stayed there in that particular room.

This place is trash. Pics lied. The curb appeal is trash. The inside had a nasty smell. The desk attendant was rude after the first question that I asked. I canceled the reservation and went to the holiday Inn down the street. I learned a lesson that day...stop being cheap with these hotels.

Due to my husband being in the hospital, I have stayed here 3 times in 2 weeks, my last stay was 10/22/2023. We are Wyndham rewards members, this location has a signed posted that is is a franchise hotel. They charge $100 deposit& a $5 key return fee. Since I book online for the reward points, I booked a king non smoking handicap room. When I got there I was told that room service had not cleaned the 3 handicap rooms. They put me in a 2 Queen bed with a toilet seat that was rigged together with plastic in room 112. The first night I stayed I made them come into room 105 to verify the damaged curtain because I was not going to pay for damages. The second night I stayed I didn’t have any towels. I have had to call for assistance all three times, I have stayed. The first night they were accommodating, the last two they were put out by my requests for adequate towels. There should be two sets in a room, not a bath mat and one towel and NO washcloth or hand towel at all. I only booked the room because it is close to the hospital and cheap but last night was the last time since due to the smell of spice emanating from the forward most likely handicap rooms they are living onsite and I need the handicap accessible rooms they are taking up for living space. Also, the king room is more and they refused to credit me for the difference between the rooms. I am hoping that a call to Wyndham will result in some compensation since the hotel was not.

Rooms was dirty could have been cleaner the front desk had someone running it that didn't understand what I was asking if them an instead of canceling the three day reservation an letting me know they charged me for 5 days I stead of the two days we actually wantedRooms: Room had a dirty floor was not clean at all

Room was dirty, didn't have enough towels for 2 people, had 1 wash cloth, lights didn't work, had shampoo no conditioner or hand lotion. Breakfast was a joke would not

1-While already on the road traveling, we attempted to make a booking over the phone. No one picked up after three attempts. We then booked online. We did not see any notation regarding the pet fee on the reservation page. Upon arrival, We were greatly surprised that our room cost $58 for humans but an additional $70 for our two dogs. At the lateness of the evening, and it’s last minute booking, we felt trapped to stay.2- we were even more exasperated at the physical condition of our room.Burned out lights. The outlet for the microwave, fridge, etc had no power to it. The room itself was dingy and unsanitary. I’m happy to share the documentation photos of the room. Which includes the mold and splatter above the shower head, the height of dirt and fuzz on the heating/cooling unit vents, the goop smeared on the chair arms, etc. I hope I’ve created an accurate depiction of our experience. Breakfast - there was a half loaf of Walmart bread and a bruised, overripe banana.Thanks for your time and attention.Stephen Baeckeroot

doesn't even deserve 1 star! hallway was nasty going up to our room, food on stairwell, trash, whole place smelled like a cheech and chong concert, room was NASTY toilet had not been cleaned in months, blood on the floor snot on the wall, oh and you'll be charged $100 deposit when you check in..$100 deposit for a nasty hotel...would NOT recommend!!!!! Front desk guy was a complete jerk as well!!!

We stayed in room 114 and it was great. I haven't seen a single thing that lines up with what other reviews said. And the front desk guy was incredibly friendly and helpful. I asked for a room with a microwave and he offered to bring me one. Then I saw they have them in the breakfast area so told him not to bother.There is a $100 incidentals deposit but every hotel charges something.There is a $3 fee for not returning your key but we were told we could leave it in the room. Honestly this policy should change, as these keys are a dime a dozen and no hotel charges for these, ever. Still, great service and nice room. ?

I chose to stay here when originally I was going to drive into Walcott to be near the Iowa 80 truck stop. This was supposed to be cheaper. In the end I paid more to stay at this budget hotel than I would have to stay somewhere nicer. They charged me a pet fee for a small animal that wasn't going to leave its cage (not a dog or cat or anything that could cause damage), which most places don't do.The first room they put me in had several non-working lights, so they were willing to move me. But I found out after the fact I was charged a $5 key fee for this when it was their problem that made me have to move. You'd think they could comp that since it was THEIR fault. The second room I found the window to be unlocked and openable from the outside. This was fixable, but frightening because if I hadn't been paranoid and checked I would never have known. How many people check the windows?There was no working ice machine, you had to ask a clerk for ice any time you needed it. Hotel had a generally unkempt and unmaintained feel. Staff was nice, but you could tell the owners would not allow them to make any decisions regarding how to work with the guests regarding issues that came up.In conclusion, it's worth it to pay more up front to stay somewhere else because in the end this place finds a way to nickel and dime their price up higher than much nicer hotels and you will be left feeling disappointed and ripped off.

Horrible place I will NEVER stay here again 100 deposit we get to the room there's potato chips all over the floor on the outside still there when we get up the next morning our toilet didn't work so I called the front desk guy said he will send a housekeeper up wait a hr went outside and told the housekeeper about it she screams at me I ain't no maintenance guy very rudely hottub was so nasty bugs on the window seal light above the sink don't work fireplace in room is broken mirrors were splattered with something not cleaned.
