West Lake Park is a beautiful place with a clean lake and a surprisingly clean beach area. The park offers lots of fun water activities, including pedal boats, kayaks, and a water obstacle course with separate sections for smaller and bigger kids. The playgrounds are nice and there is a well-maintained picnic area with shelters, some featuring their own playgrounds, restrooms, fireplaces, and grills. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing stroll on a sidewalk around the lake. The park provides beautiful camping areas with nice, flat camp sites and full hookups at a good price. Cabins are also available and are a nice, quiet place to stay. The concession stand prices are reasonable, and firewood and fire starters can be purchased from the office. Guests can launch their own electric motor boats or rent from the park. The staff is helpful, though some visitors note that first-time guests may not receive much information on how things work. The gates to the park and campground close and lock at 10:30 PM. Admission is reasonably priced.
A great place to camp. We'll set up and thought through. We will be back.

Wonderful place to stay! Green manicured lawns, clean, wide cement pads, clean restrooms/showers. Beautiful place to sit and relax close to lakes and trails.
