My Dad is here and I can't say enough good things about this hospital. He's going home on hospice today. The True caring and love the staff showed him and us was overwhelming. Paula RN, Sam RN, God bless you. God Bless all of you. Our family came to know you. Thanks for all the love you've shown us. Thanks for being there for Dad (Dale Erickson) ❤️

They treated my mom so kindly, with great respect, and therapy worked hard with her. We were very impressed with clean facility and friendly staff when we visited her!

My friend needs to get into urgent care, because she is having massive back complications. The urgent care receptionist told her "urgent care doesn't do back problems, only small things, the ER does that". You and I both know the ER and Urgent Care room are one and the same, and the ER price is astronomical compared to UC. This is ridiculous, you're going to deny this patient service, even for a checkup, a diagnosis? She is inconsolable. This comes off as very money hungry and unempathetic behavior on your part, maybe even violates HIPAA laws. This needs to be made right.

I have ALWAYS had good experiences with Winneshiek Medical Center. I have been going there for almost 15 years. Dr. Wymer is amazing, the P/T department is great. I have only good things to say about WMC.

I felt compelled to leave my opinion about the Physical Therapy department. Unfortunately, I broke my shoulder in 3 places in December. I have been working with Stacey ever since. Stacey and the entire department have been nothing short of Great. Stacey is so knowledgable and I trust her very much. So grateful I was paired with her. She is professional, knowledgeable and human at the same time. Good work Stacey Q!!!!!

Incompetent.I called to speak with a nurse, because my daughter was starting to show new symptoms after her diagnosis, and on the paper it says if you have these new symptoms get help right away, so I called right away and they said oh it sounds like she’s getting the flu. Like what????????

A week ago now my mother was driving home from work late at night and started to get a bloody nose. At first she thought it was just sinus congestion but then realized she was swallowing blood clots. It was dark so she had to pull over to find a Kleenex and then realize it was blood coming from her nose and not just a runny nose. She started not to feel good and almost blacked out but was able to call 911. The ambulance got there and told her it was just a bloody nose and asked if she wanted to go home. She said no and they brought her into the ambulance and took her vitals to find out her blood pressure was extremely high. Upon getting to winneshiek medical center they ran every test, luckily coming back normal but her blood pressure was still very high. They also drug screened her which came back negative. She was in and out and could hardly fend for herself because she was so weak. It wasn't until her ex-husband, my dad, showed up that he was able to say she was not okay. The staff had let her go to the bathroom on her own where she hardly remembers doing. She went to lay back down from going to the bathroom and her blood pressure had spiked again. What was going on with my mom? She was in a hypertensive crisis which could have easily led to her dying or having a stroke that would have l it's so sad eft her in a hardly functional state. It's so sad that the EMT offered her to go home, then the winneshiek medical staff not taking her seriously, thinking she was on drugs, and not doing something about her blood pressure sooner than later. I don't care who you are, everyone should be treated equally. Do better for the sake of northeast Iowa.

I don't always give 5 Stars (see my dozens of reviews). But I feel I have no choice; the three visits I've made to the WMC ER (two for me, one for my wife) during the past two years have been perfect. So I give the Emergency Department 5 Stars. That goes for medical treatment AND administration AND compassion. Doctor Sandy Clayton, a former US Army officer, is awesome. My first ER visit was for a potentially life threatening condition, BTW. They saved me. And the Vets hospital tried to order me down to Iowa City, an unnecessary three hour drive, and Dr. Clayton advocated for me so I could get help from this civilian hospital 10 minutes from home!

Winneshiek Medical Center and staff of Dr. Menke should be COMPLETELY ASHAMED of themselves! The lack of professionalism, compassion, attentiveness and overall morals is a disgrace to the medical field! People struggling often do not ask for help because they feel NO ONE cares and Dr Menke and his staff ARE EXACTLY WHY people don't ask for help! My mother has been a patient for several years and recently reached out 3 straight days for HELP following the sudden death of her child and received NO return call or help. I took matters into my own hands and reached out and NO ONE from his office returned my call either! What type of human does not reach out to a grieving mother when she is begging for help? Dr Menke and his staff are who!!! I hope NO ONE ever has to experience the pain and suffering that my mother has with losing not 1 child but 2 and receiving NO HELP from their medical provider!

According to my friend, this medical center discriminates against the unvaccinated! Since when does healthcare NOT respect a person’s medical freedom!! They’re playing a dangerous political game
