Was there at 4:45pm. According to the web site, it's open until 7, but I was informed the Ace hardware left a 3, so no one could help me

Sadly, this place has gone down hill, big time! We stopped here several times in the past. It's nice to shop a small store sometimes. Walmart can feel like a marathon at times and has no welcoming feel. This store had nearly everything you would need.But this last visit was extremely disappointing. Their cafe was closed, which isn't a big deal by itself. BUT, they have obviously been slow to clean the space. It STUNK! Clearly, something was rotting and hasn't been addressed. A thorough deep clean is in order. Honestly, it turned us off from the entire store. We didn't want to buy anything. Such a shame.

Great local grocery and hardware store. Was so glad to have Ace come to town. Staff are friendly and always offering to help. Great to be able to pick up parts and materials in town.

Has a good selection of groceries that I want or need to get. Competitive on prices, I love their cinnamon rice pudding, so have been buying a lot of that lately. Our Pepsi products that we buy heavily are there, so glad we have the store in this smaller community between Waverly and Waterloo.
