“Since I live in NW Iowa, I don't get to the Dubuque area very often. This is my 3rd visit to Monastery Candy's small gift shop & my friend's 1st visit. We both bought a variety of superb products in one of the most tranquil areas in Iowa I have ever visited! It's well worth incorporating a stop here when you are in the area.”
“I've received a generous box of Trappistine Creamy Caramels for a 2015 Holiday Season gift. They are fabulous! I don't think I've ever had any as good. Here's hoping next Christmas is the same kind of jolly.”
“The fabulous taste of homemade candies right in the Dubuque, Iowa area. It has grown from a simple candy shop to now offering delicate truffles, wine specialty candies, and homemade daily Gourmet ice cream. ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ ICE CREAM PORTIONS ARE HUGE!
I needed to share mine, and it was the smallest that they had! Absolutely yummy and will go back.
My favorite takeaway candy was the dark chocolate coffee Bark. The dark chocolate raspberry truffles will be my next purchase!”
“So many good and fun things to purchase here! I never go in and come out empty-handed. Easy to navigate with my walker, easy to get help if needed. Always good books and fun stuffed animals and tasty treats! Highly recommend.”

“Freddy's popcorn makes this delicious party mix. It's so good and addicting. I eat it until I feel sick and then I take a break then eat some more. I live in madison so I used to only get it when I was in town. I just found out you can order it online. It got here so fast. It was packaged so cute and they sent a bracelet that their niece made! I'm wearing it now! I got stickers also. Sublime customer service, delicious products!”
