The company is facing issues at the target store CVS because they have inadequate staffing leading to wait times, as well as issues with their benefits. You cannot use curbside pick up because they are NOT target. So our target in a town of less than 70,000 people has over 20 reserved pick up spots for target shoppers, yet CVS cannot add ready prescriptions to the Q. So no matter when I go to pick up meds- I have to wait to be served, then wait and hope that the computers are working and can scan, and appropriately handle our prescriptions. I've only been doing this since August, and at half of my pick ups they have to start over and use the other computer so that my bill is accurate. And it's not just an imperfect system-- its' both computers. The staff are excellent, but there are only so many times they can say- I know your prescription is ON order- but it's not here- I missed a free Libre 3 because from August through November 7, they never were in stock- and now I have 3 days left and have to use my last sensor- and my refill was due 8 weeks ago-- and there are no options. And they aren't coming in. The CVS system can't keep our family prescriptions together and the system's refill dates is not reflective of our insurance company's policy. Our family of 5 with special needs and health issues has over 32 prescriptions to be filled regularly- and this requires pick up at least 3 times a month- and when we transferred them to CVS in August- all but 3 of these prescriptions were aligned to one monthly pick up time, and every three months a second pick up time. But since August, I have to pick up meds 3 or more times a month... and if I change pharmacies- half of our prescription prices double if not triple!!! so my time is the cost.

I came here for one item, a nasal spray. I waited in line for 15 minutes while the pharmacist offered every single thing in the pharmacy to the customer in front of me. I get to the counter, and she refuses to sell me the nasal spray, saying I have to buy it at the front. Since when will the pharmacy not sell pharmacy items? This is a terrible pharmacy and the pharmacist is ridiculous.

Good luck trying to get anyone from there pharmacy on the phone, you just get a messaging service that won’t get you to a real person. Switching back to Walgreens or trying Hyvee pharmacy. Customer service is just a thing of the past..

CVS Pharmacy saved me money for my prescription by honoring my Good RX coupon. CVS has friendly, helpful employees and not as congested as some pharmacies!!

I am traveling and will be in Dubuque soon. My family got Covid on the road and when I called there was NO way to speak to a human and ask 1) if they have Paxlovid and 2) if they take my insurance so that I know where telehealth can send my rx. I tried the prescriber line as that is the ONLY way to
Speak to a human and the woman who answered the phone would only speak over me and then hung up on me. Leaving a message and waiting for a call back is not an option as I have service which is spotty through the mountains and I had two VERY simple questions. I am a registered nurse and I know about bedside manner and helping people in need. This individual was uncaring, refused to listen, refused to help and was all together a miserable person to talk to. What goes around comes around ma’am. You should be ashamed of yourself. Also CVS, the only option being to leave a message is terrible. Avoid. The Hy-vee pharmacy was super helpful and pleasant, but sadly did not have the medication.

Melissa is the greatest, most professional, & friendliest pharmacist we have ever dealt with. She always has a smile and welcoming attitude. To us, she is so fun to deal with. Employees like Melissa are very few & far between.

I've been here a few months. Every single prescription I've had. For life saving medicine (Type 1 Diabetic). Has come week(s) late, or had some other crazy issue where they have to reorder or are waiting on the tooth fairy to call them back. One time I had to wait 20 minutes to pick my order that the app told me was there because the pharmacist couldn't figure out that she spelled Adam with 3 A's. I move around a lot and have had many pharmacies. This is the worst. I'm tired of torturing myself. I shouldn't be waiting for insulin and sensors because of people's consistent and stupid mistakes.

Every prescription I have picked up at this location has been mixed up or a hassle. I've used other locations of cvs and never had these issues. I think it is just this location.

I have the experience waiting in a long lines the employees not finding customers prescription buy more and less lost it I had to tap on the counter just to get their attention because they won’t look up after standing there for more than 10 minutes and you’re not very helpful in the least I am seriously thinking about switching pharmacies because of this

I came in to help my fiancé retrieve his prescription that was called into the pharmacy some time around 3-4 am seeing as the need for the medication was due to an early morning emergency room visit. We made it to the pharmacy around 3:30 in the afternoon and were told we have to wait about 20 minutes or so. A little odd, but he's used this pharmacy prior and has had to wait before. We both wait patiently and when we go back up to see if it's ready, while it is, that's when things got messy. While I was waiting for the pharmacy technician to actually help us (bless her, she tried her hardest to be as helpful as she could) the actual pharmacist is helping more customers. Due to close proximity, I hear an additional 3 customers out of the 5 she helped have other issues that obviously took them all VERY off guard. For their privacy I won't be explaining further. The line of people waiting was exceptionally long and both myself and my fiancé felt as though the pharmacist was incredibly sassy, uneducated about the procedures needing to be done, and overall had poor customer service etiquette. One gentleman actually completely left the line citing "I can't wait, this line is going nowhere." It was only after AN HOUR of waiting that we finally got what we needed. I understand the medical field is busy and the substances' being passed over the counter can be lethal if not kept in check. But to treat customers like they're fools while also being INCREDIBLY unhelpful and unsupportive is no way any medical professional should ever act. I give them 2 stars because I know one bad employee doesn't mean the whole pharmacy is bad, and the technician was lovely, but really, this needs to be mentioned in the possibility of any further cases.
