Dubuque Community Y is a welcoming and friendly place for families and individuals to enjoy various activities. The pool is appreciated for open swim hours and relaxing options like the hot tub, though it could use new starting blocks. The basketball court is enjoyable, but better balls and rules for busy times would improve the experience. The facility has a supportive community, especially for swimmers, with a helpful staff that makes visitors feel at home, including those from abroad. The YMCA offers good services for the neighborhood, including free child watch, despite limited hours. Overall, it is a fun, supportive, and convenient place for exercise and relaxation.
Polite staff and classroom teachers! I’ve been here for a couple of years and go to many other Ymca’s around the Midwest and I’m always happy to be at my home Ymca!
