They destroyed my car. Took my Mercedes diesel there for a SIMPLE oil change. A few minutes after leaving my car went into limp mode. I had to drive to work the next morning in limp mode. I called them after looking at my service receipt. They put the wrong oil in and too much. I called they argued with me that it was the correct oil. Mind you it literally says bold and in color when you pop the hood the specific oil it takes. After a long time of arguing on the phone they sent a tow truck to pick up my car and put the correct oil and amount in. They did put the correct amount in the second time. However it specifically takes mobile 5w30 diesel. That’s not what they put in. That night and the next day the car went out of limp mod. It was sluggish but okay. The service manager made a claim that my DPF was clogged and that’s why this happened. If you know anything about them, they clean themselves. Fast forward a few days the car went in limp mode and shut down. Had to have it towed home. Then the next day towed again to a Mercedes mechanic who was perplexed. UNTIL he heard the part about too much oil and wrong kind of the pressure from too much oil blew out the gaskets in the turbo and pushed oil straight to the DPF. The car can’t clean oil out of the DPF. Therefore the turbo system and entire DPF system need to be replaced. The mechanic said he’s never in all his years seen something so bad. Over 8k in damage to my car. My daily driver that I NEED for work. Stay far far away. This place has no idea what they are doing. I will be taking a statement from the mechanic that is going to try to undue the damage, the receipts showing what they did to my car to an attorney. Don’t take your car here. I’ve heard horror stories from others that have had damage from simple oil changes there.

Great service and price. Addressed my concerns. Enjoying the new tires and advice of which ones would be the best option. John the store Manager was very helpful. Great guy.

My oil change appt at 9 am was only supposed to take an hour. Checked back in with them at 10:15 just to see if it was done and they hadn’t started working on it yet. I waited for another hour they told me that it was almost done. After that they kept telling me that it would only be about 5-10 more mins. After another 45 mins, they said that it was ready and waiting out front. I went out there and it was no where to be seen. The technician had put my keys in the cupholder which somehow fell under my center console because apparently my cup holder was not latching correctly. It took them another 15 mins to get it out. My hour simple oil change took 3 hours of me waiting around. I will never be coming back or recommending Firestone to anyone.

I've been taking my cars to Firestone/Bridgestone or their affiliated TiresPlus locations for about 30 years. I am NEVER disappointed with the service nor the products. In moving back to the Dubuque, IA/Galena, IL area a few months ago, I'm now well-acquainted with Firestone in Dubuque. From my new Bridgestone Turanza QuietTrak tires to brake work, air conditioning recharging and more, I couldn't be more satisfied. People need to be as quick to praise as they are to criticize, which is why I'm leaving this 5-star review. Thanks, manager John and team!

We had excellent service today. I had to have a car towed over there to have a tire repair, and three light bulbs repaired. They were quick, thoughtful, and efficient. Very pleasant at check in and check out. Highly recommend.

Took my vehicle to get an alignment and was told I needed to replace the control arms. Had a mechanic at the dealership look at it and there was nothing wrong with the control arms. Trying to scam people out of money. 0/5. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I have been to 4 different Firestone locations in 3 different states for a grand total of 9 times and every time ,they either told me the wrong part was bad or some other excuse why my truck couldn't get properly aligned I wasted countless hours and 4 new tires in the process they were completely disrespectful of my time and cared less about my loss and when I called and filed multiple complaints with corporate, they just gave me money back and told me to go somewhere else I wouldn't refer my worst enemy to any Firestone location .....they're so called lifetime alignment is a scam unless you have a lifetime to waste waiting for good service .......

Took my wife's car in for an alignment check and sat in the waiting room for two hours while the car sat exactly I parked. Took my keys and made an appointment elsewhere. Took my truck in because the alignment was under warranty. Sat there for another two hours. If it wasn't under warranty I would have left. I'll pay for another alignment elsewhere before I go back.

Only had two decent people to work with and one was the store manager after he got a call from a different location hearing I was really mad about how my visit went… Some of the workers are terrible to work with and they tried telling me I needed to pay for more work to be done all because I said I could hear an odd noise after they changed my air filter… The manager looked at my car personally after I called a different store looking to speak to a district manager to get my issue resolved (after none of the staff would listen to me or listen to the noise) and all it needed was for some sticks and leaves to be removed after changing a filter… Should’ve just been done after waiting 4 hours for 2 filters and an oil change but I guess it took me calling and complaining to another store…

Told me over the phone my tires would cost $640 out the door and take about hour and a half. 2 and a half hours later, late to work and to pick up spouse PLUS price estimate off by over $100.

After waiting 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time. I left without having any work done. I was told at 45 minutes in that my vehicle was going to be brought in. I left and found service elsewhere.

The person who checked me in was very friendly and told me about all the deals and specials that were going on, so I was able to save quite a bit on that visit. Very convenient being able to make an appointment online. Firestone always does a good job!
