I had a bad experience today with an employee at the 11 pm shift, I went to buy a case of beer, he was already giving me weird looks but u didn’t minded. Once I showed him my international ID because I am a international student he just proceeded to say “I can’t scan this cause is international and I can’t override it” right away shut me down and grabbed the case of beer saying “I will go put this back” I asked him if I can show him my Passport since a passport is a legal document for identification, he right away said “no I won’t be accepting that” shut me down again and said “go try the other store” confused and disappointed I told him that it made no sense because a passport is a legit document and wether or not you can override, a passport shows your birthday and it’s the most legal document. His was dismissive and passive aggressive also rude. I already called their main office, filed a complaint and disappointed. If you don’t like your work, don’t work. Ain’t nobody forcing you to be there buddy, also, not every Hispanic person that walks in is an illegal person.

It’s a gas station that’s about all I can say.

Day time and 3rd shifts employees are fantastic. 2nd shift when you go in seems like you are a bother and not very friendly with customers. Not sure if they are even aware on second shift of the promotions on the rewards program, also not great at keeping the daily sandwich specials made. Came in tonight because on the app for rewards it said that the ham and cheese sandwiches were $2.99. Kind of hard to sell the sandwiches if they are not made. Also hard to sell daily sandwich meals if they are not made. 32nd store is my favorite but not during second shift. Just don’t know what the point is to have a special or stuff on rewards if you can’t get it

If you're local you would know all the in's & out's of the entire place. It's what looks like a BP gas station all in green color and across the street is the familiar red color but apparently it's all Kwik Trip truck stop where the Cat scale is complete with 2 broom closet showers. It's better than no truck stop but if you are OTR don't expect a smooth stop. Only part of the pumps have DEF and the outside card reader is not working. Employees are cordial but kinda unsympathetic with regard to the stuff not working right. Not much else to choose from.

Worst experience I've ever had. Ordered small dish with chocolate ice cream/sprinkles. Received a small chocolate cone and a dish on the side with sprinkles. Asked for them to remake, got no sprinkles and melted ice cream. Order a strawberry sundae with marshmallow was made completely wrong. Had to wait at least 20 minutes for melted ice cream. Will not be going back.

I've been a customer of Kwik stop for many years. I enjoy their selection and from time to time their employees can be friendly although seem to lack training on identifying which pump is which when asking for a receipt, asking me how much I paid rather than knowing which pump they can print the receipt from using their computer. At the end of the day I'm leaving one star out of five because the pumps have been changed to pre pay. The local culture in Dubuque is that of trust and it's offensive to be honest. So in effect, I was inconvenienced and had to trust the gas station with my money before I received a product, as well as was inconvenienced when asking for a receipt that did not have the gallons and price per gallon on the receipt, which I had to come back into the shop a second time for. There was a gas station downtown that for a time was selling their gas even 25 cents less than competitors. They went out of business people people would not patron a place that doesn't trust their customers.

I think employees there need better training! I ordered a brownie cookie dough blizzard, when I got it there was no brownie or cookie dough in it. The manager had them make a new, never once apologizes for the inconvenience. When I got my new blizzard it was still the wrong kind. At this point I just took it because I figured if they can't make it correctly the first 2 times they wouldn't make it correctly the 3rd time. I love DQ but it will be a while before I go back.
