A few days before leaving the country for a wedding, our dog, Hank got a corneal ulcer. Our regular vet was very adamant that he needed to be checked while we were gone to ensure that his eye was healing properly because he could have been at risk of losing his eye if things went wrong.
I was panicked, and our dog was staying with my parents in Dubuque while we were gone. Even with last minute notice, PetMed was able to come to their house - which saved my parents + Hank the stress of having to take him in, and on top of that they were great! My mom said they were quick + efficient, and super friendly. They were extremely kind to work with, and I am so grateful they were able to help us out!

The front desk staff were VERY out of line, with the way they spoke to my wife. I do not and will never refer anyone to these people. (Needless to say, we are finding a new vet) That and 3 separate visits. To perform 2 shots. For our dog. Was a bit excessive. Only making people come back so many times, so they can charge as many office visits as possible. There are PLENTY of other vets around that wouldn’t think about speaking to a paying customer the way they did today. SMH such a great way to represent someone else’s business… way to go receptionist

Dr. Tigges is wonderful! She thoroughly examined our guinea pig, determined the problem and compassionately and thoroughly explained what was needed to get Tank on the mend. We have had nothing but positive experiences with PetMed for the past 15 years or more. Thank you!

Treated my cat like a barn animal. So naturally, I never wanted to go back. I told them I wouldn’t be bringing my cat back in . Then when I needed a prescription of gabapentin, so the cat could travel, they refuse to fill it.. Now I’ve paid for my visit and established that they know my pet. They’re refusing to help the cat to travel safely.
I figured I’d paid and since the cat doesn’t have to return for the medicine and I can administer it myself it would be okay to use the service (I paid for) .
Since they refuse to help and had such lame service in the past, I recommend finding a different vet in the area and save yourself the trouble dealing with such a crude vets.

DISGUSTING! Plenty of other vets to see. That's that will answer your questions without terminating your relationship because you Ask for a simple result. As a paying customer expect nothing less. Certainly not being hung up on.

We were dissatisfied with our vet and upon recommendation from a friend, I took our cat in to PetMed for a 2nd opinion. I instantly felt we were in the right place. Dr. Hellert and the staff clearly explained the situation and treatment options. Happy we have found these new folks to help us take care of our fur babies!

I don't know how many people can say it but I love my vets. I mainly go to Dr tiggers but I have dealt with both doctors and they are wonderful. I have two older cats and the younger male who's neutered what are you likes to skirmish. If I need a vet appointment in ASAP they get me in and treat me and my animals with the utmost respect. I've been going to these vets since they started and I wouldn't think of changing. Also love the front desk receptionists Charity and Tina. Thanks guys for making my life easier and less stressful ?
