The bathroom was disgusting. No toilet paper. Trash looked like it had not been changed in a while. They moved the women's sign to the men's bathroom door so they have their own employee bathroom, which I am sure is conveniently much cleaner. Also had very limited stock and the store was a mess.

Great store! Super cleanly and the staff is so nice and helpful and I just appreciate the dedication the staff has to the store.

We stopped at Dollar general in eldon Iowa. There were cars in parking lot, merchandise outside the doors, lights on and we go up to the door, the door doesn’t open, we look in, one worker looked at us and shook her head, then we notice a sign saying store is temporarily closed

12-27-22 laziest dollar general I have ever seen. Manager is a liar and practically incompetent. Avoiding this place may be the equivalent of avoiding herpes

Since the store opened it has been rapidly going down hill. It is increasingly unlikely that you will find what you are looking for in stock, and if it is be prepared to pay almost twice as much as price on the shelf. They seem to be unable to keep staff and when they do have staff working they have no desire to actually do anything.Just stopped at 2pm on a Tuesday and all of the lights and cash registers were on, the doors were locked and no one was working. This company has become worse than not having any other choice in town. Don't bother going here you are just going to have to spend the gas to go somewhere else anyway.
