“A good affordable items store. Things changed over the years, but they still offer a great selection of anything that can help you out when you are in a bind. We are not regulars here but come here every now and then, especially during holiday seasons to pick up some different or affordable items.”
“They have pretty reasonable prices and variety of stuff. I came here for a very specific reason. I wanted to get a total wireless cell phone. As those are prepaid phones that you can utilize before you initiate service and that makes them pretty good to use. I bought a c110 Nokia phone for $32 total. I really wanted to get a higher end Motorola phone but this was sufficient and I'm glad I got the phone and it's operates fine.”

“For a Dollar General store this place is decent, food/snacks/drinks always well stocked. Interesting stuff down the other isles.
If you haven't been in one recently get ready for sticker shock, they are just as expensive as a regular grocery store. Not alot of the good finds anymore.”
“I accidentally left my wallet in a shopping cart today (2:00pm 9/15/24) I returned almost 4 hours later and the cashier, the same person who was working earlier in the day, had my wallet safely tucked away for me-with all the contents of my wallet still there. Thank you for your honesty, and for keeping my wallet safe!! Today was very busy and scattered for me, and it was truly the greatest relief to have the wallet returned to me. Thank you!!!”
“As far as dollar stores goes Family Dollar on 1st avenue is the best. I can get lost in this place for hours and never get chased around or made to feel like I'm unwelcome and have overstayed my visit. The employees are always very helpful and sincere”
