Gary helped me figure out if a car that I wanted to purchase from a dealership would be right for me. He tested it very thoroughly, and explained everything to me in clear terms so that I could understand. He was a pleasure to work with, and seems like a really genuine person. Our vehicle was one of many in the ditch on 3/6/25 (blizzard) 3 other tow companies denied the call. (Tow ban was lifted) Thankfully Gary took our call, he came in what seemed like no time! Pulled our car out of the drift in a min flat and away we went. Huge life saver as we're in for another winter mix tonight. Couldn't be happier! Excellent customer service.

Back last month February 9th I had a run in with some farm equipment that had fallen onto the road in front of me. I'm grateful for Custom Auto picking me up. I'm also very grateful that the quoted price for repair seems to be very affordable. The biggest problem that I have is that it's now March 29th and I still don't have my car repaired. I've called multiple times and every time there has been a problem with a part that was ordered that they've had to send back. From my experience, Custom Auto appears to be a great price but expect to wait a while.
Update: It is now April 19th. I set a date to have my car done. It was supposed to be done. I drove 2.5 hours from my house. After arriving, it's still not done. If you can help it, do not go here.

Amazing to work with!!!! Was so quick to come pull my daughter out of the ditch. So nice to her and reassuring that it happens during the winter. Very reasonable price! Will definitely call again!!

I had a flat tire on the side of a highway on the 4th of July. I couldn't change the tire because a few of the lug nuts were stripped. Gary came with his truck and got the lug nuts off and had me on my way in no time. He was very courteous and professional as well. I would definitely recommend him and his business.

Custom Auto sold me a car with a salvage title at book price and failed to notify me of this. Didnt find out til i was in a wreck and the vehicles report showed a long list of prior damages. Not only will i be contacting an attorney but i will never refer anyone else to Custom Auto pf Fort Dodge Iowa

Was driving from Sibley to Des Moines when truck broke down. It was on a Sunday so not many options near by. Called Custom Auto who answered on the first ring. They towed and repaired vehicle at reasonable price. Was very helpful at explaining repairs and didn't push anything additional. Very pleased:)
