Seems to happen a lot. Anyone can have sales on not in stock / limited stock items that are only good through a certain date. Either bring in enough stock for the sale, limit amount one can purchase, or give a substitute for same price as items on sale. As far as the store goes, it is always clean. The staff is always friendly. Today is no different. You are out of the 80% ground beef on the first day of the sale. I can see my review helps.

So I have never been inside a Hy-Vee. Huge selection. They have a butcher in the back and the best organic and allergy free food section I have ever seen. Not to mention a huge candy bin aisle. Easy to to get lost looking at everything. Employees not friendly though.
