Very nice storage facility and well maintained with functional security. However there is a time limit, and you cannot leave a vehicle there overnight. If you're there too long or regularly the owners will ASSUME you are living in your unit and harrass you with predjudiced bigotry and bias.
It doesnt matter if youre sorting through stuff, organizing your belongings, or preparing for a cross country move and leaving your car there overnight out of fear of car theives. Remember this is a business and all they care about is the money they get from you, you as a person, they couldnt possibly care less about.

Got a storage unit in a hurry when I couldn't find one anywhere else. Super friendly staff, clean unit easy choice in my opinion. Will return when the need arises. Thank you!

Working with Risco Storage was a fantastic experience! The unit was super clean on a well-managed property. The staff, especially Kerri, was great to work with when I needed to make a last-minute reservation. If you need a unit near Ames, please call them first -- they won't disappoint!
