My two daughters and I stumbled across this cute little coffee shop as we waited for a volleyball tourney to start in a nearby town. This has to be the cutest coffee shop I've been into in a while. It had an aesthetic like something you would see straight out of a movie coffee shop, and the drinks were wonderful and reasonably priced. We did not eat, but many others around us did and as the food came out we really started to regret not having the time, it looked and smelled delicious. This is quite a ways from us, but we've already been planning another trip to the area just so we can come here again.

Found this gem on our drive into Ames. Everything was freshly made, tasted great, and pretty inexpensive. Love the idea of a rotating menu! The staff were kind and appreciative for us coming in. It's also a fun vibe inside.

No matter what you order, the food is always delicious. Their chicken salad sandwiches and raspberry white chocolate scones are my favorite! Very friendly staff!

Pleasant little place, met friends for breakfast - food was fresh, good, coffee refilled, enjoyable service. The menu is very limited, but I believe it is made to order, the seating is very limited, not for a large group by any means. Would absolutely go back again someday.

Stopped in between basketball games. So glad we did. Walked in and was greeted by cheerful and knowledgeable staff. They walked us through the small but exciting menu. We didn't get pictures of our food but had ham sandwhich which was toasted, bowl of chicken noodle soup, Asian cranberry salad and shrimp curry soup. It was amazing!!! The building and decor was charming and well curated. Every detail had been thought out and purposeful.

Great place, short drive if you live in north Ames. Small high quality menu and generally can accommodate dairy free requests. Coffee beans from Morning Bell, Tea from Gong Fu... the best local sources :-)

I work close by, so eat here ALOT.Generous portions, great prices and exceptionally fresh....always.I'm one of those people that pretty much never wants it quite the way is comes, but they always accommodate my wishes, without eye-rolling about it (well, at least to my face:-).One of my top ten places to eat in Story County.

Do not sleep on this place! The menu is limited and released week by week (check out their facebook), but it is not limited in goodness! The owner knows what she's doing, I've loved each item I've had and have yet to try something I didn't love. It's a small cute location and close to Ames

One of my favorite restaurants. I love their cooking. Top favorites are pho, chicken salad, lattes, homemade sauces and salad dressings, chocolate chip cookies. Can't wait to go back every week!

Amazing food and amazing people. Amanda creates such a comfortable atmosphere and curates a menu where you can’t go wrong with what you choose. Glad to only live a couple blocks away from such an amazing place!

Amazing homemade food and reasonably priced. The setting in an old bank of a one horse town added to the experience of rural Iowa. Located 5 miles north of Ames it's a hidden gem with only a steak house for evening dinning in town.
