Thrift Stores in Grinnell, IA

“I genuinely love this thrift store - I’ve been coming here for years! However, the prices are getting ridiculous. They’re starting to get greedy, visibly shown with their ‘specialty items’ area (brand names, ‘quality’ fabrics, etc) growing larger each time I walk in. It used to be non-existent. They somewhat recently discovered using Google Photos to price items, which is probably the reason things are getting expensive. They assume ebay/depop/poshmark prices = an item’s actual worth,,, which is insane if you know anything about online shopping.

It’s still a tad cheaper than Goodwill, but at this rate there won’t be a major difference in a year or so. It’s a real shame :( :( :( :(”
