I'm planning on filling a grievous complaint. Unfortunately, I have to wait until tomorrow because they don't know how. I would not trust this place with anyone you love or know. Absolutely uneducated. Like fake license uneducated in my opinion.

My 76yo mother has stage 4 Vascular Dementia came in from nursing home where she got pneumonia. Rhinovirus cold. & a UTI. It didnt look good, but the amazing ing staff at this hospital she's never been to before--saved her life. I am very impressed with the competence of great staff there. They stayed in contact with regular updates since i live out of town.Thank you all.

I was referred to Grundy County hospital for a routine ultrasound because my doctor at UnityPoint could not fit me in. When I went back for my appointment the doctor asked why I was there. She should have known why. Then repeatedly told me she “doesn’t normally do these..when she does ultrasounds it’s because someone is miscarrying in the ER.” After the ultrasound I asked if she could print pictures and she offered to put them on a CD. She gave me a CD with thousands of other people’s x-rays and personal information on it. My ultrasound pictures were not included. When I called and let them know this they did not seem to care. I eventually got my pictures but no one ever addressed the major HIPAA violation.

The nurse that does my infusion every 8 weeks is wonderful. She remembers me every time I come in and she makes my experience pleasant every time.

Recently needed to have an MRI...which could of been a very scary procedure but it was meet with such a high level of care & professionalism....it was almost enjoyable! Feel very fortunate & blessed to have such a wonderful health facility right here in Grundy!

Sent me home with postpartum preeclampsia and I was admitted to Allen Hospital within a couple hours. I presented at GC Er with massively swollen feet, hands and face, dizziness, and a high bp. Doctor told me that I couldn’t have preeclampsia because I had my baby 3 days earlier and thats how you get rid of it. Didn’t even bother to check labs on my liver. He sent me home within an hour with no treatment. Spent the next couple days admitted to Allen Hospital on magnesium and prescribed bp meds.

The nurses and doctor were very friendly and helpful in what I needed. They explained what was wrong and what the next step I need to take to get better.

Told me I needed an ambulance ride to go to Allen hospital so they could stick A-scope down my throat they insisted that the procedure was going to be done immediately after the ambulance ride and it was not it was scheduled For at least 3 weeks out Expensive ambulance ride for no reason

Both of my elderly parents, on different incidences, spent time here for illnesses. I can’t say enough about the nursing staff and the care they gave to my parents. They took time to explain things, were so kind and gentle with them both and above all, respectful. The communication they provided to me was above and beyond what you would get from a larger hospital and I am extremely thankful to everyone who I was involved with. Thank you, nursing staff, for renewing my faith in humanity.

They missed my 4 month old daughters condition and told me it was nothing. I have not be treated correctly myself several times. At times there is a rude receptionist, and now recently when i pushed a matter with my daughtwr and got her up to iowa city when they where going to let the issue go and give me the response if we find nothing wrong we will be sending her back home in her condition (ran in circles with them many times before they even called the childrens hospital she had surgery at) they called DHS on me. I had to get on the phone myself and call iowa city hospital to let them know what was happening.... i will not be taking my daughter or myself here again used to be a nice hospital.
