Front desk helpful on answering?. Been using this hospital for services, unless there is a service prescribed that can't be done there for last 37 yrs. Good staff.

Appears that they don't want you to leave! My wife went into the ER for 8 HOURS. Mind you that less than a third of this time was spent treating my wife. We were the only ones in the hospital yet with how slow everything was you'd think that it was jam packed! They refused to take her IVs out (nothing was being put through them, and we were waiting for them to let us go.) Absolutely ridiculous and stupidly lazy.

I have been in this hospital several times. My most recent was for about 3 weeks. I was on skilled care after a surgery in Des Moines. The care I received from all the staff was outstanding! Small town love and care!

Best paramedics in Iowa. Best er doctor I’ve ever met and I’ve met a lot! I would trust my life with them again any day. I’d fight for them and die for them. They probably wouldn’t let me. Lol. But I have been to hell and back many times and I wouldn’t trust anyone more. Too bad St Gregory’s doesn’t respect our law enforcement and emergency workers more.

Sat in the waiting room with a fever and serious body aches for over an hour before I was seen. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this hospital if you don’t want to have a long wait time

Absolute horrid customer care. Saw a doctor in October, paid my balance in November. Received a bill in February, called 3 days in a row to discuss, no one ever answered the phone. Finally got through in March, and they sent my $117 "balance" to collections. Highly suggest finding alternative patient care.

I was throwing up blood and it progressively got worse as I waited. I told the admission what was happening even. Waited 45 minutes before I decided to just leave and go to Des Moines.

Love how they just refuse to accept my insurance even though they said they would. My 5 year old getting an ace bandage and burn cream sure seems to be worth the $500 bill. What a joke.

a vein burst while I was sleeping in my ankle and I probably bled for an hour on my ankle before I even knew it, I was passing in and out of consciousness trying to find my cellphone. Luckily I called 911 and Adair Ambulance picked me up. I would have died if I didn't have my local ambulance service - I was so happy with all of them and they all seemed liked friends I would have even if we hadn't met me as a 300lb nude body covered in blood. I remember being drug through my house passing in and out. They all made sure that I was as comfortable that I could be. Covered in liters of blood, sweat, vomit and a lil pee probably they took care of me. My gratitude to the good-humored Dr's, RN, ARNP's, drivers, EMT's, etc, etc ..that kept me laughing and recovering. Thank you all and especially to the Missouri visiting ARNP Janet Sidebottom. Once I feel a little better, I'll come put on a standup comedy show for you;)

We highly recommend Dr.Silker with GCH clinic! We drive an hour one way for our little girl to see her. She is so caring and informative. You can tell she loves her career and truly cares about each of her patients. When I call about a concern with my daughter she often calls me back personally vs having her nurse call me. She is so personable and knowledgeable. We are so lucky to have her.

My husband and I love these doctors! They are a husband and wife team and the most comfortable caring doctors I've ever met. They actually listen to your concerns. They have a more holistic approach and only prescribe meds if necessary. They are a must try and they take both cash and insurance. The whole staff is amazing! Great team, highly recommend.

If I could give them a lower rating I would the reason why they even get a star is because I wanted to leave a review. The worse staff in the world it is a joke that they are even still hired. They were suppose to do there job and fallow up or call or something with me instead they sent it straight to collections. My insurance went through but since they already sent it to collections I now have the privilege of looking at a lowers score. I was so close to getting my credit back up. These people completely ruined my life.

Some of the staff are mean and bad attitude and it’s never no one are that’s supposed to be In charge first off my son has a mental break down and they never helped him they kept complaining that they had no mental word but yet it’s a hospital who do is still to help him but they barely came to the room and check on him just kept lying claiming we was waitting for other hospital with beds to accept us when the whole time they discharged him we went straight to des moine hospital And they had 11 available beds waitting to be filled that was amazing and they was very professional and caring , and cares about safety gurthrie just got a hospital for no reason sad
