“A couple unique things I found here 1) this PO building seems larger than what’s commonly found in a community this size 2) the mural ‘Peony Festival at Hamburg’ painted in 1941 is above the service counter which is unique. Typically they are above the Postmaster door. Hamburg’s Peony festival stopped during WW2 and now hosts the annual Popcorn Day.”
