I have a business in town and had to have al ot of communication with them. I find the staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had the internet in the previous shop which served it's purpose well, and now am at a place that has fiber optic and am completely satisfied. Thank you ILPT!

Borderline criminal enterprise.
Have had their accounting department fraudulently remove service line items on my account.
Never shut off my water at the street, leading to a burst pipe in my basement.
This is the most rinky-dink, unprofessional utility company I have ever had to deal with.

The electrical box behind our house blew a fuse/fuses and we lost power. I called it in right away and within 10 minutes a crew was here fixing the problem.

The wifi use to be better a couple months ago but its just been getting worse and worse, and during the nights its even worse than during the day

I'm moving this down to two stars because their internet service is absolutely terrible I don't recommend them for internet and cable. I'm currently looking at a new provider. I'm struggling to get my internet fixed and they say it's my router. But I'm using a nighthawk router I paid $300. I took my router to my friend's house and it worked fine. But they say it's not them it's me and if I wanted it fixed or looked at I have to pay a service fee to fix their issue I'm not doing that. I'm paying them and on time. So I'm not behind on bills and I'm on time for my payments.

Many thanks to Ashley and Noah for their support while resolving our input issues with new equipment set up yesterday. Ashley was helpful over the phone and then dispatched Noah whom arrived within 10 minutes to help. We live in Chicago so we are used to waiting days for the large providers. Its great to receive excellent service from a local provider and our in-laws are up and running with some new modern technology!!

Had IndyTel for 4 years now. First two was good but the last couple years their network has become extremely congested. I have the 100down 5up package and sometimes I'm lucky to see 20 down. Serious infrastructure upgrades needed.

We were Indytel internet customers for many years. In the past few years, the internet got increasingly unreliable and dropped randomly and we almost never saw the 100/5 we paid for. The cable lines for the internet are extremely congested and oversubscribed, not to mention the speeds aren’t a great value for the price. Still no sign of fiber outside of very few select neighborhoods.We got fed up with it and switched to Mediacom. Sure, it’s capped, but the usage limit is pretty high and we get gigabit service for about the same price as Indytel’s 100/5. Have had very few outages and no issues receiving our promised speeds.Indytel used to be good, but they have a lot of work to do with relieving congestion/oversubscription issues, increasing speeds, and rolling out fiber to the majority of people in town before we’d ever consider going back.

Has been pretty decent speeds for a while, but over the last couple of months the speeds have been horrible. Used to not have any complaints, but after asking around I know tons of people with the same issues. Just fed up.

I have their internet only package and will give them props because the speed is pretty consistent for what I pay for and they don't cap your internet and make you pay after so many gbs. More company's should follow in their foot steps.
I would of given it a 5 star, but the upload speeds are lacking. I'd love to see something a little faster.
**Edit /2/27/2019** I've been living out with my friend who just had fiber installed and he is receiving 250/250. Hope you guys can roll your fiber optic program to the rest of the town soon :)! Changed to 5 stars.

Always rude and unpleasant. Argumentative with customers and noncompassionate. Horrible customer relations. There should be an option for service I would definitely pick ANY company other than this company.

Since ILP cable tv went digital we have had many issues. Will be watching a show and flip away and want to go back to original show and can't get signal. Will say channel can't be decoded or is unavailable. How can that be when you were just watching a minute ago. Have to reprogram our tv. This has happened several times now. Thinking of dropping ILP cable.
