They had a used Toyota Corolla on their website I was interested in, called them and they said it was there. I drove to Iowa city, sales guy says car is in South Dakota. Why tell me car is there when it's not. His boss was a pushy jerk that was trying to talk me into car out my price range. Glad I found a good car at a reasonable price at a small dealer in cedar rapids.

I recently bought a vehicle from Jacob Smith, he made the whole process so easy and went above and beyond to accommodate my wants and needs! I highly recommend him.

Don’t buy here. Head up north to Cedar Rapids if you want want buy a Honda. They require you to buy Valpro, an extended warranty, non-negotiable for $4k if you want to buy there. Reason being because they can and because “demand is high and stock is low”. They’re essentially tying their vehicles with this warranty and taking advantage of customers. Don’t reward their bad business behavior and go somewhere else, even if it’s a little further away. I’ve bought 2 cars at Billion before and will never make that mistake again.

Update 10.26.23It's been 3 weeks and patience on my end has been intact 100%. It's been 5 weeks since I've been told Frank Juliano would give me a call. Clearly people at IC Billion don't live up to their values. Lying, dishonesty and lack of communication is not good customer service. Unfortunately Frank Juliano hasn't had 5 minutes to pick up the phone and return a call. Is this the type of services that Iowa City Billion has to offer?Still hoping this goes away*Update 10.10.23Still no call back from Juliano.I'm guessing their busy giving client false information that he can't pick up the phone.Update 10.02.23Been over a week and still no call back from Frank Juliano. Clearly Iowa City Billion is not the place to purchase a vehicle from.I feel sorry for the kid who took the time and explained the features of our 2022 Honda Odyssey (he was fairly new) but frankly, a 1 star is still too high for this company.I purchased a 2022 Honda Odyssey with Extended warranty and Valpro Package. I was told by the closing management that I had 60 days to cancel these 2 OPTIONAL items. At no point did the he mentioned I was buying extended warranty or the cost (Valpro price was given to us by the kid who showed us the van, so that we were aware). In fact, when we were going through the paperwork, he made it seem like the warranty he was talking about was part of the "Honda Certified" van already priced in. He failed to mentioned the additional $3,500 dollar costs. Needless to say, it only takes one bad person to ruin an entire company. I've called and was told Frank Juliano would be returning my call today (I'm not holding my breath). If this is how Frank Juliano handles his business then it says a lot about this dealership.I plan on cancelling my extended warranty. The less I have to deal with this dealership, the best.clearly this isn't the first time they do this. I'm looking at similar complaints. I think it's best if we all file a Consumer Complaint report. at the very least it will show on their history for shaddy deals. For the person replying to my review: here's how Frank Juliano can fix the issue and stand by his company:1. Refund me the ValPro package cost2. Fire the guy who said I had 60 days to cancel - clearly he was lying so no need for that type of person in ANY COMPANY.3. Take a closer look at your reviews and provide a SOLUTIONS.

Beware, up-charging is the standard model at Billion Auto. Check elsewhere!!!Billion Auto Honda had a new vehicle I was interested in listed on line. Listing was a bit over MSRP but within the current price trend for this model, trim, and region. I called to verify it was in stock just before they closed Thursday evening. It was in stock and on-line price was verified. Informed the salesman I had a 2-3 hour drive and would be shortly after they opened.Next morning, as Im finishing all but the last 15 minutes of the trip, I receive a text that the vehicle is ready, to ask for Austin the salesman when my wife and I arrive, and oh by the way the vehicle would include a $3850 protection package (it looks like this is the ValPro coverage that many people have complained about on Billion reviews). We pulled into the business drive, were met quickly by sales, taken the vehicle parked out front, and taken on a test drive. I inquired about the Protection package during the test drive. Austin informed me that this included floor mats, a paint protectant product, and an insurance of sorts against interior damage. My wife and I informed him that we had no interest any of these. They could keep the mats, cancel the interior insurance, and skip the paint protectant- protectant not applied yet. Austin informed us that it was not an option, the nearly $4000 fee was mandatory and added to the on-line listed price whether or not you wanted it if you intended to buy from Billion auto group...I planned to leave at that point but they attempted the salesman/ sales manager shuffle- they were going to show such great value on my trade that I wouldn't notice the tacked on $4000. But after about an hour their inflated pricing was still very noticeable, their trade-in offer was mid-range at best, and I was pretty disgusted with the attempted thievery process so we left the dealership. The Sales manager did call me 5 minutes later and cut me a "deal" of only the original above MSRP + $2350 more for the Valpro package but I had no interest in the ValPro gimmick and had enough of their tactics. In short I wasted 6+ hours driving to and dealing with Billion Auto yesterday. I went to Billion planning to trade or simply write a check for the above MSRP asking price + TTL + other appropriate fees and leave with a new Honda Pilot for my wife but instead left empty handed and angry... But I guess it is better than paying 1 extra cent to a business that pulls these disgusting upcharge tactics.Luckily I found same make/ model with similar trim package closer to home last night and purchased it today. I would encourage anyone thinking of buying at Billion Auto Honda to check for you wants/ needs elsewhere even if you have to order the vehicle you desire. They have been at this up-charging program for a few years now according to several review sites I've researched since yesterday. Apparently enough of their customers pay the $4000 fee to make the tactic is profitable so I'm sure they will stay at it until folks refuse to deal with them.

Bought a vehicle at Billion Honda back in 2019 from Ryan Nesham. I have always had exceptional service from Ryan and the service center. They have a nice waiting area too while your car gets worked on. This is a dealership we will be repeat customers in future.

I purchased a new 2018 Odessey from Ryan Nesham and had an excellent experience. In August, 2023 my wife decided to purchase a new CRV, so we went to see Ryan again. He was professional as always, but management would not sell her a new (top of the line) CRV at the listed price without adding a $3,900 dealer installed "accessory" surface protection package.Note: They market this Valpro product by telling you they will credit 65% back at time of trade-in. Of course, you have to then trade-in the car to Billion and accept their trade-in offer. Even if you decide to sell the car yourself, the protection package does not increase the value of your car. Just ask Kelly Blue Book. So, if you want to help Billion Auto continue to be a Big Box Car Dealership, go ahead and spend $4,000 more than necessary for your new car.Glad we decided not to.

My car broke down on I80 when I was traveling home (I do not live in Iowa). I had my car towed to this dealer for repair. I cannot say enough how happy I am with the service I received. I talked to Doug on the phone, and he was extremely helpful and understanding, and able to get my car fixed in one business day, even with the 4th of July holiday. My car runs perfectly again, and the price was more than fair. I would highly recommend this location for service! Thanks Doug and Billion Auto!

Went to buy a Odyssey here. I ended up buying from another dealer who offered signficantly more on trade in and more off MSRP without $4000 in forced accessories. Which is fine, I tried pretty hard to have Billion match offers but they wouldn't. Fine again. Their salesman advised that I go trade my car in somewhere else to get a better offer so I did and ended up buying somewhere else too. Anyway, I'd shop around before going to see these guys. Just my opinion.

If you want to spend over 25k on a vehicle and have it break down on the side of the road within a few weeks of purchasing it, this is the dealership for you. Purchased a 2016 Honda Odyssey and within 3 weeks it completely stopped running. I called them asking if we could take it in to the Billion dealer where we reside and have it checked out. Of course, the soonest they could see it was almost a month out. I was told by the supervisor to take it to our local Honda dealer to have them figure out what is wrong with it and that we would “work something out”. I assumed that meant they would help cover the cost. I called to let them know the alternator was bad as well as the battery which had been frozen at some point before we got it and it would be over a thousand dollars to fix. They then said because we did not purchase the service contract they would not help cover anything. Now maybe I’m wrong but to me a service contract is something that you purchase for future repairs that may be needed, not pre-existing issues that were clearly not checked out by the dealership before purchasing the vehicle. If they are under no legal obligation to help you, they won’t. They clearly prey on young families and do not care about their customers and anything other than making a buck. In addition, we were basically tricked into purchasing some very expensive “Valpro” package that had been refused multiple times because apparently that was the only way to give us even close to a fair price for our trade-in. Worst service and experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle.

I purchased an SUV from Billion Kia about 5 yrs ago and had a wonderful experience. I just happened to be up at the Kia Dealership for my first major repair & decided to look around at the Honda lot. From the moment the salesman, Drake, walked up to my son and I, I liked him immediately. He didn't put any pressure on me, just asked what we were doing today so I explained to him that my car was getting worked on and I've always wanted a Honda truck. He says well let's go drive it! Haha! So, after my kid and I had breakfast we decided to go back and take that ride. It was shortly after arriving at Honda I found out there were more repairs that I didn't want to deal with and since I was in the last year of my car loan - I decided to dump it. Drake was amazingly patient with my extreme indecisiveness. He worked with me for hours deciding if I wanted to buy new or used. Every single time he said I'll be back in a minute - HE WAS! That in itself is amazing if you have ever had a long bad experience at a car dealership. He worked with until after closing time. He programmed my phone and car and even offered to help clean my old car out. He didn't cringe when I test drove the vehicles and really drove them! Haha! He seriously took the extra mile at every available turn. Also, the Sales Manager was fantastic as well. The finance guy was awesome and super fast & knowledgeable. Overall, It was a great experience. I doubt I'll ever go anywhere other than Billion for my vehicles. Thank you Drake & Billion Honda for a great experience!!!
