Riley is a great salesman to work with if you are looking for new cars. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the process. I would recommend him if you stop by!

The service department is reliably excellent. On this most recent visit the intake manifold need replacing (it was still on warranty! woohoo!) and while the technician was working on that he noticed that the cylinders needed cleaning which can only be done with the intake manifold removed. He spoke to his manager who contacted me about it. If I had waited to have the cylinders cleaned later, it would have been much more costly because the technician would have to remove the intake manifold again. So many thanks for the technician for taking the initiative which saved me money in the long run.

I had requested the windshield wipers be replaced when the vehicle was dropped off. This was not done until I asked if it has been done at check out. The dealership offers a complementary car wash as a benefit of having it serviced at their dealership. The last two times I've had the vehicle in for service no car wash was done, with no explanation. Dissatisfied to say the least. How do I know they did the other services they claim was done? Service personnel change the settings of the seat and fail to put them back in the original position. They also change the digital settings of the dashboard and don't return them to the original settings I had them on. This last trip in for service they even turned off the cruise control and didn't turn it back on. These may seem trivial but to a vehicle owner it IS an inconvenience!

Tried to trade in my Audi Q7 that I purchased 2 years 9 mos ago for 32k from carousel. Just flipped to 100k miles but vehicle is beautiful. Took to 2 other dealerships and they offered me 17,500 and 20k. Carousel only offered 14k and would not budge on the price of a Camry I was looking at. Was priced only 4 thousand below what a new one would cost. I don't know why they didn't want to sell me a car on Saturday, but it was an awful experience. Maybe they wanted out of there because the Hawkeye football game was going to be on soon?

Drove to my small hometown in Iowa from Tulsa, OK for a visit. The day after I arrived, the brake warning message came on in my Mercedes GLE 350. I was heading to Iowa City in a few days for a wedding, so I called Carosel to see if they could at least check my brakes before I drove 500 miles back to Okalahoma. The gal on the phone said they had no appointments available for approx. 10 days. I had spoke with Craig in the Service Dept. earlier in the day, and he told me to "run it in" and they could at least look and tell me if it was safe to drive back to Oklahoma before getting new brakes. I arrived in Iowa City on a Thursday morning, dropped my car off and talked to Craig. At that time he told me if my car DID need brakes, they would squeeze me in. He said "We won't let you make a 500 mile trip with no brakes!" Long story short...my car needed front brakes. They squeezed me in, but had to keep my car for 2 nights. I asked about a loaner car since I had to pick up my husband at the Cedar Rapids airport the following evening. Craig put me in a loaner car the following day. They truly went out of their way to help me. They fit me in when their schedule was already full so that I would not have to make a 500 mile trip with brakes worn to the sensors. They found me a loaner car to use while they had mine. I am so grateful for Craig, and the entire service department at Carosel!! THANK YOU!

Corousel has some of the most pleasant staff that we deal with anywhere from Iowa City to Cedar Rapids. My experience is only with parts and service but it is exemplary! We are a small shop that does very little business with them but they treat us like we matter every time.

My daughter is going to school at Iowa and had a flat tire. I thought for sure that wherever she went they were going to take advance of a 19 year old girl, but I’m happy to report that this company was honest and only charged us $40 for a tire repair. Thank you!

It's been about a month since I've spoken with them about the broken passenger visor on my 2016 Honda civic. Mind you I paid about 3 to 5 grand more than asking price. I would figure a car with 58,000 miles on it and 20,000 dollars it would be perfect. The middle console handle was hard to open upon getting the car however it was everything I wanted from the color to the sunroof... so I looked past it. It broke 3 days later I sent a message and they wouldn't fix it because it supposibly wasn't broken when I got the car. However it looks like it was super glued at one point. The same with the visor they wouldn't fix it because it wasn't broken when I got it.. but it fell out the day I drove it home I thought it just needed to be clicked back in place but after seeing the mechanic they said I need a whole new one..and that it looked like someone ripped it out really hard at one point. I'm upset cause I after looking into a price it'll be over a 100 dollars for a visor. They knew what they sold me and rufuse to help out three months later after over charging me . Wanted to like them but here I am leaving a review. Ohhh and the back seat was all stained but was wet when I got it and they wanted me to drive back 2 and half hours to re clean it... knowing they can easily call a honda place closer to me and have me taken care of on the seats and the visor and middle console. Next review I leave is at the BBB

I went there for an oil change and to get some repairs done. The repairs were minor things that pop up when you buy a new car. I expected to be there for a few hours. I was in and out in about an hour. The service gentlemen were courteous and professional. I also appreciated that the salesperson who sold me the car (Jason) stopped by to check I was being taken care of. Normally I don't go to car dealerships for oil changes. I may reconsider that.

The Mercedes dealership for eastern iowa. Every time I take my car in for it's annual maintenance they greet my by name and go over what us going to be done and then send my an expected invoice which agrees with the final bill unless we discuss additional items.

Sage was extremely helpful. I didn’t feel pushed or rushed to purchase. He showed me many options for what I was interested in and followed up with me in a timely manner before and after purchase. He took his time to make sure I had all my questions answered and helped me get to know the car before I drove off the lot.

I would highly recommend finding another dealership to purchase a vehicle, even if you have to drive a bit. Witham in Cedar Falls has been fantastic with service and after the terrible experience we had with Carousel, my dad actually chose to purchase his new vehicle from Witham instead of Carousel. My husband and I purchased a brand new VW Atlas in April of 2022. We test drove and met with a salesman on a Friday but couldn't agree on price. We ended up talking with him over the weekend (we live an hour away from the dealership) and making a deal.During negotiations we asked them to include roof cross bars and all weather floor mats. They said they could only include the all weather mats. They gave us used mats from an Atlas with a bench middle row - ours has captains seats in the middle row. The mats instantly got stuck in the track of the seat and we had to speak to the sales manager multiple times to get the correct mats because they refused to believe they were the wrong mats. A couple weeks after purchasing we noticed on the sticker sheet that NEW all weather mats were supposed to be included in the sales price. My husband and I both called multiple times and also stopped in to the dealership to ask why they were dishonest in negotiations and the sales manager refused to speak with us.One of the seats in the second row had a piece of plastic sticking out through the seat fabric. We took the vehicle in to have this fixed and my husband waited hours for them to finish the repair. When he picked the car up, the piece was still sticking out. He had to take it back and wait hours again for them to "fix" the seat. A couple weeks later the seat started squeaking while driving. We took it to another dealership (Witham in Cedar Falls) and they let us know the seat had not been put back together properly.Needless to say we are no longer taking our vehicle to Carousel for service and won't be purchasing any other vehicles from them in the future.
