The Pedestrian Mall is a great spot to visit with friends or family. It is a pleasant and safe place to stroll, eat, drink, and shop. The area features great shops, bars, restaurants, and a public library. There is a children's playground and a fountain. Visitors can see new art installations and enjoy festivals and events. It brings back memories but continues to evolve. Free Wi-Fi is available.

    Tropical music night (Sunset Salsa) in the Iowa City Ped Mall. Held once a month (2nd Saturday of each month). We don't go as often as we'd like, but when we do, we always have a great time.
