The only place I can find on this side of Iowa that takes my insurance and can do the work I need done. I've now been waiting for a year for an appointment. When I call and ask they seem like they don't care or can't give me any answers on when I might be able to get in. Dave yourself the time and trouble and go anywhere else if you can. This dentist college is a joke

I received filling here, I had been feeling bad about the tooth everyday after the filling, then the tooth died. However, the customer representative lady insisted saying it's not related to the service and rejected to pay for the cost. She only offered me free extraction, and I was even charged of the dead tooth evaluation. The dentist wasn't even actively reaching out back to me, I felt like just discarded like trash. And I went to endodontist since I didn't trust the college of dentistry anymore, then I was charged $300 more. I want to talk to the top manger about it. Why nobody cares about student's benefits? Is it okay to transfer all the risk to students? And is it okay to tell students "this happens, you just need to move on"?

I have severe anxiety especially with dental work. Every single person I met with was very friendly and explained everything every step of the way, which definitely helps with my anxiety. Rather than offering the easy option that most other dentists are (dentures), they offered realistic options such as fillings and maybe a root canal.

Faculty clinic all the way. I needed an emergency root canal a couple of weeks after being seen for a routine checkup in-clinic -- not the dentist's fault -- and had a lucky roll of the dice with the resident I got for the endo work. (I would not normally recommend doing that!) Experienced and extremely competent young dentist. The rest of the process with the faculty dentist, getting the crown and fitting it, was like buttah. Scheduling, billing, everything went great. I've been to faculty clinic on and off in the last 25 years, and while some are better with head than hands, my experience overall has been good to excellent. No problem recommending them.

I had good interactions with Dr. Restrepo-Kennedy and Dr. Sinn. Not so much with Dr. Georgia Johnson. She is the kind of doctor who is I'm sure technically very competent, yet lacks critically important skills in patient empathy. She has a patronizing and alienating chair-side manner. I fear for the dental students learning from her. I only hope they are wise enough to focus on her dental skills and take their lead on patient interactions from the other doctors in the program there.

I go to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry annually for teeth cleaning and every so often for dental care. I always receive the best service and both the dentists and hygienists are very kind as well as excellent at what they do. I recommend everyone to use the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
