I HAD INSURANCE THAT DIDN'T MEET THE STANDARDS OF GREENSTATE TWO WEEKS LATER I GOT THE REQUIRED INSURANCE. TWO WEEKS GO BUY I GET A LETTER SAYING I OWE 3,OOO FOR COVER COAST. THEY SAID MY NEW MONTHLY CAR NOTE IS 565.00 IT WAS 340.00. I TOLD THEM I COULDN'T AFFORD IT. ASKED IF THEY COULD ROLL THE (3,000) INTO MY CAR LOAN.THEY SAID THEY COULD. FEW WEEKS GO BY I GET A LETTER IN A MAIL WITH A CHECK WITH MY CAR NOTE PAYMENT 341.00. I CALLED TO FIND OUT THAT MY CAR IS ABOUT TO GET REPOED UNLESS I CAME UP WITH THE CASH TO STOP IT. SINGLE MOM OF TWO I CAN'T AFFORD IT. I THEN CHECK MY CREDIT THEY SAID I MISSED THREE MONTHS OF PAYMENTS WHICH IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT. THIS WHOLE THING STARTED LAST WINTER SO HOW DID I PAY THEN BUT MISSED LAST THREE MONTHS OF PAYMENTS. SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL FOR MAKING MONEY THIS WAY.

If I could give a negative score I would! Worse bank ever and the worst CEO and Aaron that sits below him. I had a theft of my card that had not been activated for a year! I contacted them as soon as I noticed charges and overdraft! They told me aorry nothing we can do! I had to pay the amount back and they still charged me the overdraft fees! I asked for proof that I even agreed to overdraft protection and no one was able nor have yet sent me such documentation! Once the account was paid they closed it and then reported it to my credit report as a loan charge off zero balance! I will continue to go up the ladder and file complaints with the state and federal CCUboards ! I have also disputed it with all three credit bureaus! This is not ok!

As my parents have aged and need more help sorting out finances or just checking if something is a scam this bank has been a lifesaver. Jarrod Kauffman has been patient, kind and more than helpful with things above and beyond what I thought a bank would help with. Thank you!!

They charged us overdraft fees every time we paid off the amount owed and then they charge more overdraft fees! It was like a ongoing cycle! They couldn’t just include them in the pay off amount! I have no idea why I stayed at this bank(credit union) for so long! They also tried charging us for car insurance every year even though we had car insurance through someone else and it would take months for them to reimburse us for the money they wrongfully charged us. It’s like they knew we were banking somewhere else. Hills Bank and West Bank are so much better then Green State! They will try and steal from you every chance they get!

They never answer their phone. Over an hour until close and just goes to voicemail. Try and call on Saturday, doesn't even ring... just straight to voice-mail. This is the WORST credit union I've ever dealt with. May as well be Wells Fargo or Chase with the horrible customer service. I guess it's time to contact the Division of Financial Institutions. I'm just trying to pay my auto loan and I'm sure you people have added a late fee now.

Will 100% be moving my loan to another bank. They tacked on a $2500 expensive "insurance" onto my loan without my permission when I had insurance through State Farm the whole time! The system they use to show proof of insurance is a joke and now I think I'm going to miss the deadline even though I submitted it on time because they "have more questions." Not a single email or any alert... only sent 2 letters in the mail like it's 1991. I've had this loan almost 3 years and got a new policy and forgot to submit a declaration page. Maybe try calling? You'll be hearing from me on Monday!!!

I'm banking with this bank and today was the day I had enough. Having a line all the way outside the bank is just insane. Why am I even member of this bank ? No sense of urgency, no help from managment . We are your paychecks put some effort to take care of your customers. Highly recommend you to go elsewhere. I'm so disappointed beyond.

Be warned…A dealership underwrote an auto loan through them— didn’t think much of it.We put the note on auto pay— it has had 100% payment history.However, Greenstate increased the note’s monthly payment amount through hidden fees— then the auto payment amount didn’t cover it.Without warning, Greenstate reported this as a missed payment on my credit. This has massacred my previously perfect credit.I’ve been trying to resolve this; it takes a while with a 45min wait time to reach anyone.

The staff was amazing and very helpful when I needed to get access to my account information that I haven’t used it a while. I will definitely be doing more business with GreenState!

Poorest customer service! Their ATM machine was malfunctioning and took $600 of my cash without depositing it to my account! I’ve been going there for a week and nobody is responsive! Apparently was my fault so I have to wait and see if the ATM technician approves my claim otherwise my money is gone.

I have been working to resolve an EFT issue with my business account that I brought up to Green State. They called for collections on my account when I had be trying to resolve the issue. They did not look into any communication I have had in trying to resolve the issue, and did not issue any apology, but rather stated that they were sticking to the facts on the account. They did not even review my prior emails or the facts on the account prior to calling me. It is really disappointing when you're trying to work through an issue and they are threatening to charge late fees and state that your account is delinquent when you have done nothing wrong.

I loved my Greenstate until they hired a bunch of rude staff, very very rude and I am disappointed because I now have to drive all the way to Coralville to do my transactions or talk to bankers, my family and friends agree too. I never thought that I’ll be saying this about GreenState. ??
